Pretty and usful
I purchased this as a gift for my friend. Overall, it is a nice product. It has a little weight to it. The clasp closes and opens nicely. It was nice to see one side is slightly magnified. My complaint is that the writing and designs on it are almost unable to be seen. The outside is so shiny, and the design is printed or etched in a light, light grey making you have to hold it just right so that the light hits the front in a way to backlight the design. That is the only reason I'm giving it two stars, because you want to see the design because that is why you bought this item instead of a plain silver compact in the first place.
