There's no worry of them braking like you would with plastic
These rulers are very handy. There's no worry of them braking like you would with plastic. I use mine as straight edge. Works very well.

Handy, but more flexible then expected.
I'll be honest I expected these to be a little more durable. They can be bent very easily depending on your situation. I bought these for woodworking, and simple conversions of multiple fractions. The ruler at the left edge has 1/16th of extra metal before the actual ruler starts, so take that 1/16th into consideration when putting it up against a work piece. Aside from that at $3.15 each I can't really complain. They have conversion charts on the back and a convenient hole up top for putting them on a shelf or hook for quick access.
