These are the best outside lights I’ve ever seen. The heavy duty cord should last for years. I have had mine for years with no problems. The way the cord is made at each light to attach them is so easy to use. My husband was very impressed & said putting them up was easy. I have received so many compliments!I have gifted these to numerous friends & relatives - they all love them as much as I do.I definitely recommend these!

Bought these for patio lights hoping to make my new pad look more inviting...I turn them on around 6pm and by 8:00 there's a line of 30-something white couples trying to drink Chablis on my back patio.I tried putting up a sign that says go away but they just keep taking pictures next to it and saying "hashtag mood"Definitely recommend these if you have a cafe or some kind of outdoor seating area that you want to make more inviting to foot traffic, especially if you're in Santa Monica or Brentwood.The wire is a bit heavy though so you'll need more than Command Hooks to put these up.

Used on our patio railing and stair railings to provide a safe lighted area.

I love these lights. I have them installed above an outdoor dining area, along our back patio, and along our perimeter fence. Nice warm glow in the evening.One modification, though, is where two strands come together it leaves 6' between bulbs. (3' from each strand.) Since the other lights are spaced 3' apart, this creates either too long of a gap or the need to bundle the wire (which I originally did).However, I did find waterproof connectors that allowed me to cut out 3' of wire at the end of each strand and make a rather seamless connection. By the 5th connection it took me about 2 minutes to install one.

I was very disappointed in the product and the company's support/service. Unlike six other sets of this same type of lights, these are NOT shatterproof plastic bulbs. They are glass. They did not include that information in the listing before I bought them, though since updated. These strands DO NOT have a plastic safety/weatherproof cap at the end of the run! Nothing is included to protect the string-to-string connection if you are not connecting another set to it. You're on your own to figure out a way to protect the circuit from water or snow getting into the exposed plug. I thought the company's customer service staff was very snooty about this concern when I addressed it with them. They rudely said that I would have to prove using photos of my other sets that they safety cap was included with the others. They wanted me to prove that their set came from the same Chinese origin as the others (!). That is obvious if you read the shipping labels on the boxes. I didn't feel like dealing with that nonsense. They wouldn't offer a partial refund so that I could buy some materials to make a safety cover for the end run. They insisted that I take the set down and send it back. Very rude to deal with! I literally threw the set into a store bag and sent it back to them. The box was crushed for the trash. I sent it back too. Rude customer service. This company's set came with the lights in boxes and you have to unpack them and put them together yourself. Not a big deal but I should have picked up on that right away ---- the bulbs are glass and will easily shatter. All of the other sets I've bought are truly shatter proof plastic and came already in the sockets, ready to plug in. Bad service. Poor product. Slightly cheaper than the others, but buyer beware. There are better options than this set from this seller. I asked nicely for a prompt resolution and I got static.
