I've been making a lot Indian food lately, and you really want a good garam masala mix for that. This garam masala powder arrived pretty fresh. It has a best before date of July 2025. It contains 50mg of sodium per serving, which seems high to me.As far as taste goes, it's good. But I would like it to be hotter. Maybe if the mix had some red chile pepper it would be great. As is, it still tastes much better that the stuff I can get at the local grocery.

I've added this to some tomato and coconut-based masala dishes. I like that it's not too spicy, as spice is easy to add but not everyone can handle it. Although you can make this blend easily, it's nice to have it ready to go - and if you are new to Indian cuisine definitely easier than tracking down all the base spices needed to put together this mix. I will buy more of this one!

This is a 3 oz bottle of Zayd Organics garam masala. It comes in a square bottle with a two sided top, with one side for sprinkling and the other side for spooning. The spice blend includes cumin, black pepper, coriander, ginger, cinnamon, black cardamom, and cloves. All are organic. It is a product of India. It is a good, warm spice blend and has all the right flavors for garam masala. I tasted it plain from the bottle and first tasted earthy cumin, then black pepper, then the warm spices chime in. It was nicely balanced. I then used it to make my favorite Mulligatawny and it did not disappoint. I'm very happy with this garam masala.

This is a very cumin forward garam masala mix by Zayd Organic. It smells amazing. It looks, tastes and smells very fresh. I am bold when it comes to using spices, so it is nice to have a larger bottle (3 ounces) than many markets sized spices. This garam masala is not as spicy/has as much heat as other brands of garam masalas I have used in the past. This is a nice version if you prefer a mild mix. I used it in a chicken dish last night and the family all thought it and the meal was very tasty. Nice fresh mix in 3 oz jar.

This organic garam masala powder appears to be of good quality and fresh. It is a nice blend of 7 all-natural ingredients. It tastes authentic and perfect for Indian recipes. The cumin aroma is forward and amazing. The aroma of other spices come through as well. The powder is very fine and not clumpy. Overall, a great garam masala powder. Good flavor and aroma. Decently priced. I really like it.
