I bought this affordable fella because it uses the highly-regarded BAK-4 lens compared to the other offerings on Amazon. The unit is not too heavy, has caps on both ends for protection, a tripod and bag which are very helpful and the secure phone mount adapter - were all purchasing considerations for my vacation kit. The bag in particular will slide over your pant belt preventing displacement/loss of the unit. The quality of the image is very good. Using your phone zoom allows you to zoom even more. Overall, a good addition to every vacationer’s toolset.No complaints. Recommended!

A good telescope but very annoying to try to use with the Iphone atattchment. So, I bought this when i was too poor to get a camera and i really am not suprised at just the functionality but it was built pretty well, just was hard to get setup fast. The optics just using it as a monocular is pretty good and has some nice clarity. I say as a person buying a monocular this is a pretty good bang for your buck, and looks pretty sleek.

It is light and easy to carry. The items look pretty close and the image quality is great. I can even track moving items! It feels like they are right in front of you! Works perfectly with iPhone camera and easy to assemble. The video quality would be nice too. great for the nature.

Update : 9/20/2024 - While I still stand behind my statement on the great value I find in this monocular, I can't in good conscience ignore the false information declared by the seller. It claims a 100mm objective lens. However, when I measure the opening, it is clearly shy of 50mm. And, as noted in another answer, it doesn't hold up to the 25x70 of my Celestron binoculars (25x zoom, 70mm objective lens). The only reason this gets more use than the Celestron is for earthly targets, and when I'm too lazy to pull out the tripod for spotting. :-) Just different use cases between the two.It came packaged beautifully, and was immediately and easily usable. I took a picture of the zoomed in hilltops in the distance using my iPhone and the adapter provided within minutes. I was surprised at how quickly I found value in this monocular. I had previously bought the heavy Celestron binoculars, which required a tripod to do anything. This single lightweight device gets used more due to its lightweight and simplicity.

The Monocular telescope is quite different from the traditional binocular telescope that I normally use. It was easy to set up and use. It comes with some accessories like a tripod. The monocular telescope reaches a good amount of distance and the image quality is good. This comes in handy for when I go to a concert and am sitting far away.

We got these as Christmas gifts for our brothers. They loved them! They are surprisingly good quality for a great price, and adapting to the iPhone was a major plus.
