I don’t wear makeup often, so eyeshadow can feel a bit overwhelming, but this pencil takes out a lot of the guess work. It’s super easy to apply and gives just the right amount of shimmer. I have two shades—one for my lid and the other for a subtle eyeliner look. It’s smooth, lasts all day, and stays put with a primer.

I am not an "expert" at doing make-up by any means but I always buy this eye pencil for my eye shadow. I love the shimmer it adds to my eyes and it lasts a pretty long time for me as well. It's very easily applied as a beginner to doing make-up and it adds a little touch of color which is always nice. Highly recommend!

Love these eyeliner pencils, think this is the 4th one I've gotten in different shades. My favorite ones are the Strawberry and Yogurt. They are perfect for the middle of the eyelid while you have darker colors around the edges and the crease. Love the creaminess, it glides right on, the price is so low, how fast it was delivered and small size. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because you have to use a pencil sharpener, which is a real pain. I prefer a twist up eyeshadow pencil that you don't have to manually sharpen, but that would likely cost more. Thank you!

Okay I am straight HOOKED on these. I’ve never been adept at makeup, but this makes it so easy that I can get a great look in five minutes.I use a pink for a little color on the hood, a rich brown for creasing and outer corner, a highlighter for highlighting, lol, and one that’s fairly close to my skin tone for the rest and blending.Brushes do not work to blend these. A finger or small sponge with a light touch is all you need, if anything. But they’re so creamy that they kind of blend themselves.The two I use most often for daywear have lasted a year, so it’s WELL worth the $5!!Try it! Makeup CRAYONS! :D

I have bought several brands of eye shadow pencils and this one is one of those “you get what you pay for”. Super cheap price but the product doesn’t last very long and the color (yogurt) doesn’t stand out like I was hoping. This would be a good product and color for a pre-teen or someone who is just getting started wearing make-up and looking for subtle.

The NYX Jumbo liners in general are a great low price but not low quality makeup item. I have several. The ever popular "milk" which works great as a base for eye shadows not only to make the shadow last longer but the white base allows any eye shadow to show true to color on the lid.Some of the colors are great as a cream shadow all on their own. For instance "Yogurt" or "French Fries" for everyday wear. The pencils are creamy, easy to apply and are huge so they last forever! You can use your fingers to spread the color all over or use a synthetic brush to do the job. And of course they also work as an eye liner. I would however, recommend setting the liner w/a shadow for better staying power.Whether you're just starting out with makeup or a pro I would definitely recommend NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils. I certainly don't have every color but the ones I do have I thoroughly enjoy!

I got the Yogurt shade to use in my lower water lines and I love it! I love how shimmery it is and seems to be pretty long lasting. I also love to wear it on my eyelids as eyeshadow. :) It's not retractable but you can sharpen it. I just use my Physicians Formula sharpener. Probably about any makeup pencil sharpener would work as long as it has a side to sharpen jumbo pencils. :)

I purchased the NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Jumbo Eye Pencil in the Yogurt color. This was the first time trying these pencils by NYX, but I have used some of their other products that I've liked. I'm glad I got this as an "add on deal" & it wasn't expensive, because otherwise I may be more disappointed. The pencil does not twist up, & does not look like it can be sharpened, so there is very little product. The yogurt color looks nice at first glance, but when you apply it, it has this gold shimmer, but it tones down somewhat as you blend it in. It may look better on someone younger, but for me, it really accentuated the creases & it wasn't flattering at all. Plus, it didn't last all that long, so this is a product I will not purchase again. :(
