Perfect story to snuggle up on the sofa with on a wet day!
Lovely little story set in the picturesque Welsh boarders which follows a few months in the lives of Drew and Amy. What makes it interesting is that it’s written in the first person from the view point of both characters so you get to know them both well. There are enough other characters and details to stop the book from being just another small town romance and I enjoyed it very much, finishing it in two nights.

Sweet story and a cleaver puppy
Wow this is the first book I've read by Sally morgan and just wow. It's amazing. Such a sweet story going from disliking someone to loving them as much as drew and Amy do. This story makes a person's heart feel happy and makes you smile and giggle especially when drew climbs the ladder not once but twice.Hammy is such a clever puppy I'm so glad he is and that Amy followed him. Otherwise the story would of had a very sad ending. I can't wait to read more from this author

Cozy Quick Read
A simple read with a nice backstory for the characters. I’m not always a fan of the shifting perspectives of the main characters but the author did it well! There were some unexpected turns that drove the story home, Loredo than just the romantic part. It worked to make the romance aspect fun and intriguing the whole time. Definitely recommend!

A gentle romance
I spent a lovely weekend reading this gentle romance. The characters ring true and there are lots of side twists and turns. The hero and heroine are flawed but have big hearts so the reader can not help but warm to them. The setting is well described with interesting comments about the area around Well Cottage making it more real. Well worth reading!

A fun, endearing romance with a sweet secondary ‘second chance at love’ romance
After a difficult breakup involving betrayal, Amy moves into her aunt’s cottage to housesit for six months while her aunt is away. Swearing off men, Amy is not at all impressed when she first meets her aunt’s closest neighbor. Drew is an architect and part time rancher, helping his dad with their sheep on the weekends. Amy is smitten with Drew’s new dog, Hamburger, and also befriends Drew’s dad, Raymond.Divorced Drew knows that relationships are doomed in his family. After his marriage to Steph ends in a disastrous break-up, he isn’t looking for romance. But despite his best efforts, Amy makes her way into his head and heart with her girl-next-door charm, honesty, and uncanny ability to herd sheep. Besides, Hammy adores her, and dogs are great judges of character! There are a couple of wonderful side stories, including family feuds carried on for generations and lost love/second chance at love involving Drew’s dad and his high school sweetheart, Gwen. After Raymond almost dies, he and Gwen reunite with a little help from Amy and Drew. Without giving away a spoiler, a new family member helps Drew see that there is no family curse when it comes to women, and Drew allows himself to fall for Amy.There’s even a sweet, romantic HEA ending! A fun, endearing romance!

HAMBURGER!
Not concerning the book…. “Hamburger” is the name of the dog I fell in love with – you will too! I was laughing out loud within the first few pages. And if you prefer a romantic story that leaves steamy sex out of the narrative, you’ll appreciate this one. Your heart will feel a tug as you are drawn into the characters’ thoughts and experiences. Then you’ll share the passionate radiance of their Christmas season with the assurances of a splendid new year arriving for them soon. Loved this book!
