I keep several magnifiers around to compensate for my declining eyesight. This is one of the larger ones I have. It is easy to hold and has two levels of magnification. The light comes in very handy, too.It needs four AAA batteries for the light, but they are not needed if you don't need the light.Feels very sturdy without being too heavy to comfortably hold for long periods.

Love this magnifying glass. It's big. It's clear making small text and objects large and easy to see. It has an included 4 LED lamp that requires 4 AAA batteries that illuminates your page. Light is bright white (cold white). Would like an option to switch it to a warmer color option but it's not a big issue.Over all this works great, is easy to use, has a light for when you need it and it comes with a soft bag cover.

I knew this was a large magnifying glass, but I was surprised at how big it actually is. It's so easy to use for reading, fixing things with small parts and anything else you want to magnify.It has a LED light on one side that can be turned off and on with the switch on the handle. The light is really helpful in low light situations, especially trying to read serial numbers etc. behind big appliances.It takes 4 AAA batteries, but they tend to last a long time because you can turn off the light.It has a nice thick rim, and it is very lightweight which makes it easy to use.My grandkids have become little science detectives because they love using it.It comes with a soft carrying case and a small cleaning cloth.I have other smaller magnifying glasses, but I love this large size. I highly recommend this one.

The size of this magnifier is very helpful to see a large page for someone with low vision. Given its size, it is surprisingly light, which is great for fatigue but also lets you know the lens is plastic and the handle is not very substantial. It does take 4 AAA batteries, not included, so keep that in mind. It also has a small little circle in the lens that is a greater power for those extra small print items. I thought it was a nice touch to include a soft bag to put the glass in, to protect it if you had it in a purse, for example. It also comes with a small lens cloth, assumedly to wipe off fingerprints and dirt from the lens. Given it is plastic, be careful about wiping with the cloth before rinsing the lens. If you push around dirt with the cloth, it will scratch over time.

This is even bigger than I was expecting, and it's nice to have so much room to see what I'm working on. With other magnifiers I can only use one eye. Since this is so large, I can use both eyes, greatly reducing eyestrain.The light is soft and bright, and because it is under the lens, there aren't any shadows or dark spots.If this was glass it would weigh a ton, so the plastic construction saves a great deal of weight. You just need to be more gentle while cleaning the lens since plastic scratches easily.I do wish it had a hanging hole in the handle, but the included cloth bag allows me to hang it up while keeping the dust off of it.
