Fun book to view, especially if you take it on your trip to Savannah. Very funny, the author mentioned what you will smell like after you leave a certain bar.....he is spot on. Informative, well laid out, and hits the big spots. I would recommend this book.

When you buy this book, you get decades of intimate knowledge of not only the burgeoning food scene Savannah, but also the best way to attack it (especially helpful if you're an out-of-towner like me). Every "crawl" in this book details the restaurants to go to in their immediate areas, but what's most valuable are the tips- where to park at particular places (or whether to get a ride there), what to be sure to ask for, Jesse's favorites, etc. Because of that, this book quickly pays for itself and could potentially lead to one of the better/best culinary experiences of you life.

I have been to Savannah several times, but have never had the opportunity to see it through the eyes of a resident and food enthusiast such as Jesse Blanco. This book is well-written, easy to follow, and contains mouth watering photos. It inspires passion for not only the delicious dining Savannah provides but for the city itself. Am looking forward to another Savannah trip with Savannah Food Crawls as my guide.
