Plays Overwatch 2 and works well for Uni work
Bought for my 19 year old heading to Uni, but we needed a Laptop that could fill both the gaming and Uni work niches, given I made the expensive mistake of raising gamer kids.We shopped around a lot and found this offered the balance we needed of performance and cost, while also having the added bonus of a larger screen and very good GPU for the price.Only complaints she's had so far were about trying to get an affordable way to carry it around as its quite large and weighs what a larger laptop usually weights. Not our first ASUS TUF Laptop over the years in the family, and they always endure well, even in a family with young kids who seem determined not to learn how to be careful with expensive tech!

I've become a fan of this laptop
Here’s my experience with this beauty called A16 Advantage Edition after using it for 10 days, about 5-6 hours a day:This laptop is elegant, well-built, budget-friendly, and powerful, excellent for both gaming and productivity. Before buying it, I did a lot of research, watching reviews and videos, because I wanted a powerful machine for gaming but also with good battery life. Since I invested €950 (I bought it from Italy), I wanted to be able to take it to a park or coffee shop without worrying about the battery running out.I ended up getting exactly what I wanted, or even better. Here’s my experience so far:--Noise level: I was initially concerned because my headphones don’t have noise cancellation, but even in performance mode (using G-Helper), the fans only reach around 4000-4500 RPM, I barely notice them.--Temps: At first, the CPU was hitting 95°C during gaming in performance mode, but after getting a €9 laptop stand, it dropped to 85°C, and the fan noise went down as well. I highly recommend a stand.--Battery life: I limit charging to 70% in G-Helper since I usually use it plugged in. With this setup—CPU on silent mode, GPU on iGPU, and the display at 60Hz—I get about 6-7 hours of battery life while web browsing or watching videos at 75% brightness.--Display: The screen is fantastic, with a 165Hz refresh rate and a MUX switch for direct GPU access, reducing latency. It’s also 16:10, so it feels bigger and looks great. But it's true that the max brightness might not be good enough if you go outside on a sunny day (I fixed this by increasing the brightness in the AMD adrenalin software momentarily)--Keyboard/Touchpad: The only thing I don’t love is the keyboard; I wish the keys had a bit more travel, but it’s still fine. The touchpad is smooth and works perfectly.I did upgrade to 32gb ram and got an intel wireless card ax210 since in my opinion has better speeds than the one installed and bluetooth 5.3.I’m in love with this beast and it's design not gamery is the best.

Good little gaming laptop
Used constantly for 2 months being on most of the day on mild MMORPG gaming, Runs diablo, world of Warcraft, runescape, football manager, fortnite, minecraft and anything else i have thrown at it perfectly. Fans so a good job of keeping it cool but can be quite loud. excellent picture quality, Laptop build quality could be a bit better but overall brilliant laptop.

Amazing Laptop
I purchased this laptop to use for things like coding, building reports and dashboards in power bi. Using Microsoft office. Watching YouTube. So I always have many programs and apps running at the same time. But this laptops performance is brilliant!! For the price you pay it’s incredible!! By far the best laptop I have owned.

Perfect for gaming
As the main headline says, this laptop will not disappoint you if you want to play any available game.I have tried most of the latest and demanding games and all of them run really smoothly with all the graphic settings maxed out. I recommend setting the games to ''balanced'' for DLSS as that will look 90-95% identical to the ''visual'' option and it will offer much more frames. Generally, the components that this laptop has are doing a pretty good job giving the fact that the RTX4070 is not as strong as the desktop version. For a budget gaming laptop, you can't ask for more.Apart of the performance, I really have to praise the screen which is really crisp with vibrant colours. The QHD resolution (with 165Hz too) really makes a big difference and you will notice that in games. The only negative aspect I have for this laptop is related to the audio quality which is still a mere average I would say. The quality has improved a bit from the previous versions of TUF laptops but not by far. And generally what I refer to is about the loudness of the speakers which was a main issue in the past. I recommend to not enable spatial sound so you can have the best experience. For those interested in the build quality, in my opinion it looks the same as the previous versions of TUF. For sure do not expect the same build quality you have on a ROG Zephyrus but overall it feels pretty sturdy.
