Very unhappy with the Jonathan Paul glasses that were apparently substituted for Cocoons.
I ordered Cocoon Sunglasses in the search box on Amazon. That is what I had previously and I had recently lost. The search line took me to what looked like my old Cocoons but some how they sent me a pair called Jonathan Paul Sunglasses. They are not as good as the Cocoons I purchase years ago. The Cocoons fit nicely and filtered the sun much better than the Jonathan Paul Sunglasses I just received. Both Sunglasses had grey lens, however the Jonathan Paul glasses do not filter the sun as well as the Cocoons. Also the Jonathan Paul's wobble around on top of my regular reading glasses and seem a bit wide for my head. Suggest you make sure what you get when you order. I didn't realize it and I doubt I can return them now.

Lacking only "cool" factor
I wish I could give these five stars, but the cool factor has to amount for something, right? That's really my only complaint with these. They are definitely function over form. I'm okay with that, but there needs to be some kind of disclosure.I've never had a problem with my eyes being sensitive to sunlight. In fact, this is only the second pair of sunglasses I have ever owned. My first pair was a prescription pair. Unfortunately, I can't afford to buy two pairs of glasses every time I get my prescription updated. When you have blue light sensitivity, astigmatism, strabismus, and bifocals all at the same time, lenses tend to get a bit expensive.I thought about numerous different solutions, but my optometrist recommended these. At first, I resisted because of the cool factor (or lack thereof). However, there just comes a time when a person needs to do what he or she needs to do in order to keep his or her sanity. It happened on the way to work one morning. I couldn't see the road because of the blinding sunlight combined with a windshield that probably got cleaned the last time I had to drive to work into the blinding sunlight nine months ago. I broke down and ordered these, and I have to say that I'm pretty happy with them. They are lightweight, so it doesn't really feel like I'm wearing anything extra. Plus, the small lens on each side not only allows me to continue to use my peripheral vision while driving, but it also allows that peripheral vision to be protected from the sunlight. These have now become my official driving glasses. However, when I was driving with my nephew last month, I had to make him promise to not laugh at me before I would put them on. Of course, he laughed anyway, but at that point, I think it was more because I told him not to.

Too small for fitovers
As expensive as JP "fitovers" are, it is unfortunate that they don't fit over my normal size men's glasses as well as other brands one-half of the JP price. These are supposed to be aviator size, but they don't clear my Rx frames as well as much cheaper brands. The case is nice, but the premium price is not justified solely for that reason. Quality is good, but not outstanding.

My 2nd Pair...the first broke after 7 years
They are big enough. The fit perfectly over my glasses. They have built in lanyard so they hang aound my neck until I need them (I know, not cool--but VERY effective). They wrap around keeping most of the wind out my eyes when bike riding (and may virus? but who know). The only neg is that they were more expensive than some of the competition, but I think better quality too.

They do what they are supposed to do
I can put on my sunglasses over my prescription glasses. They are polarized which means that reflections on the windshield from the dashboard are removed as are most reflections from bumpers, mirrors and windows from other cars. Thus, darkening of the view is a minor issue, it is the removal of the irritating reflections while you drive.

Better than expected!
I sized these correctly and put them over my prescription progressive lens eyeglasses.. they fit perfectly, and I can barely feel them on my face. The next surprise is that I get a full field of view, up down left right. These fitovers are the answer when I'm using my prescription glasses, and so much easier than clip-ons.

Saved my eyes !
These glasses are very well made and are polarized to protect the eyes 100% from UV light. Many sunglasses do not do this. My eyes are very sensitive to the light and these glasses have been perfect. I got the yellow lenses because they are perfect for day and also when it begins to get darker outside. The attachable strap allows me to take them off inside without worrying about loosing them. A little pricey for sunglasses but well worth the money.

Great glasses they were (updated April 2015) stolen and I just can't be without them.
April 2015As luck would have it someone broke into my truck and stole a bunch of things and my Sunglasses. Can't live without them they are so good I just have to buy another pair.Bought a pair 3 years ago and used them constantly while driving but while on a trip this past month I placed them down on my boat trailer and forgot them and drove off. Lost them and was lost without them so I reluctantly had to spend the money to buy another pair because they were and are really that good and needed in this Florida climate and Sun.I highly recommend these glasses they are great and do a good job of keeping my eyes protected from UV damage and bright Sun Light.

Excellent product
After using many other brands, these fitovers are by far the best. Used sizing provided, the glasses fit perfectly over prescription glasses.
