Good stuff
I’ve been looking for a heat protectant in cream form for a while. I’m pleasantly surprised by this because it does not leave a gross or sticky residue in my hair, but moisturizes it and helps with frizz. I did have to experiment to find what the right amount to use was at first (too much will weigh hair down or get a little greasy). So happy to find a natural feeling cream that protects from heat when I straighten my hair!

Seems to protect. Hair is soft after styling. Only need a SMALL amount.
I have used Paul Mitchell products from my stylist for 10+ years. My hair is very fragile, so I wanted to try this BONDRX leave-in treatment. I am always skeptical of buying salon products from Amaz*n, but the cream arrived with a foil seal intact under the lid, so I'm hoping it's legit.I've also used the BONDRX shampoo, but didn't care much for the smell (that makes or breaks a product usage for me!). And, since this treatment had the same scent, I again, believe it to be legit. So, after using it several times, I can say that it seems to do what it says. You only need to use a SMALL amount. SMALLLL. I have shoulder length hair and only use about a pea-sized amount. Too much will leave your hair heavy and greasy.I did feel that after blow-drying, my hair seemed to be left with a residue. However, once I completed my styling with my straightener, my hair felt smooth and soft.As for the scent. Well, smell is so very subjective. I love vanilla, and the product description claims: Sandalwood, Amber, Vanilla... but, if vanilla is there, its note is way overpowered by the other two scents. The smell reminds me of the perms I used to get from 7th grade through college. *shrug* Not the most pleasant to me, but on a positive note, the scent does not last quite as long as I thought the shampoo did.Overall, it's a quality product that seems to do what it says. It appears to protect my hair from heat styling. As for any repair, time will tell if I see any difference in my hair's fragility.

Remedy for Dry Hair is Correct!
This Paul Mitchell BondRx looked like something I needed after years of unknowingly damaging my very curly, very dry hair using silicones, thinking they would tame my tresses. I ordered it for that reason and have high hopes after a single use.It took me a while to break this out because I wanted to carefully review the ingredients before using. That ingredients list is awfully small and white! Once I was convinced there were no silicones, I gave it a try. (I am a little worried about the isopropyl alcohol and wonder why it is included, considering how drying it is on skin.) I used my normal shampoo and deep conditioner, then added this leave-in Paul Mitchell BondRx. The coconut scent was pleasant enough. The texture on my wet hair was a little odd, but my hair dried nice and silky. Yes, I'm still using a flat iron on it, but maybe this product will help.I see that it can be used daily, however, I am not sure if this can also be used on dry hair. If I washed my hair daily, it would be even worse, but I'd like to get all the benefits I can out of this product. The tube should last a long time based on my first use.If you are worried about authenticity (I am not.), notice the Premium Brand Sourced.

Was not a fan of this one unfortunately
I wanted to love this bond repair but it didn’t do very well in my hair. I followed directions by applying it in my hair when my hair was damp and only using a small amount. I have long thick hair naturally. This was supposed to smooth and condition my hair but I felt like it tangled my hair and made it hard to brush. It felt weighed down and like I had product in my hair. I only tried using it 3 times and didn’t get good results either of those 3 times. This may work better in someone else’s hair but it was hard to see any results from this for me.

Heavy but Still Nice
It has a very subtle scent that I found pleasant, almost playdoh-y, but in a good way.For reference, I have long, fine, color-treated hair that is dry at the moment for living in an extremely dry climate. The instructions on the container are vague in that they don't say whether to condition normally first, they just say to apply to towel-dried hair. (But now I see the instructions on the Amazon product page which give more detail, so take note of that extra information because it is not on the product itself.) So, I washed and conditioned normally, towel dried, applied the product, then brushed through to ensure even distribution. The instructions say to apply from "roots to ends", though I'm not sure I would recommend that because it is actually very heavy (despite it calling itself "lightweight" on the packaging), and my hair is pretty weighed down at the roots to the point it looks like my hair hasn't been washed in days.I don't style my hair with heat, so I cannot comment on the heat protection aspect of it.Aside from the heaviness issue though, my hair feels very soft, so I will definitely continue to use it, but use it more sparingly and not on the roots since it is quite heavy.
