Great Choice
Works great and it's very cool. Good to have a box cutter that I don't have to fiddle with the blade now

LOCTITE ALL THE SCREWS!!!!
Had it for about a week, have been fidgeting with it relentlessly, and actually utilizing it, however, many of the screws get so loose to the point where they actually fall off, please loctite every single screw, or hell even super glue them with some gel glue, for they will fall off within time, otherwise. Good mechanism, smooth enough action, overall decent and a good deal for the price

This is the Greatest Value in pocket knives today. Buy IT!!
The media could not be loaded. Don’t be confused: this is a full on automatic knife with a replaceable, scalpel blade, excellent mechanics and build, anodized aluminum handle with perfect finish and function. This is a $30 OTF fully automatic, high-quality knife with a changeable 3 inch scalpel blade. What more could you want? Buy it immediately.I have had it two months now and the anodize surface continues to hold up as do both springs. As mentioned, in other reviews, you need to put a drop of Loctite on the key ring as it comes out easily otherwise. Also, the only blades I have found that fitted are the free ones you get with a knife. don’t buy other peoples 60A Blades as they won’t fit. Still a great bargain, though.

Do not purchase!
A few screws fell out. Lucky enough to find them in pocket. Had to buy screwdriver set to repair. Some times the part that the blade attaches to comes disconnected and will sit with the blade sticking out part way.Upon repairs and usage it has become difficult to expand and harder to retract the blade. The blades are REALLY FLIMSY and do not cut as well as a utility knife. I would buy the retractable utility knife they have to offer from this company but do not want to end up with the same malfunctioning problems.Do not purchase!!! This company will not contact you!!!

Averages a 55%% failure rate of retraction.
This is the second of these knives I have purchased. The first was lost and just OK but I tried again hoping for better reliability. I have tested both of these knives pretty thoroughly. Both were tested with a #24 and #60 blade (when possible) and both had a 0 failure rate to DEPLOY throughout all testing.Straight out of the first with a #24 blade it had a 30% fail rate (all %'s are rounded) and would not accept a #60 blade. After disassembling, cleaning and SLIGHTLY oiling the percentages changed to a 25% failure with the #24. (again, these are the failure to retract %'s)Second knife DID accept a #24 and #60 blade. Out Of The Box test: #24 came in at 40% and the #60 at 65% failure. After clean and oil, #24 20% and #60 had a 50%These are not defensive knives, consider them as replacement retractable box cutters.I strongly advise against pocket carry! OTF knives are generally made to have a safety feature that if they meet resistance while opening they will not completely deploy. That said, these are still actual scalpel blades and even a "safety" opening will requite stiches, I have the medical bills to prove that one lol. Both knives came with ALL screws loose. Since the screws are so small I did not use Loctite but instead tightened them hand tight and wrapped each line of screws with a 1/4in piece of duct tape (so 3 thin circles). This allows me to not lose the screws while still being able to open and clean.

Very secure blade, smooth and snappy action!
I have previously purchased the "TGZUO" Utility blade OTF knife for my daily use box opener at work, but I experienced issues with the blade screw coming loose with repeated openings and closings. This required me to always have a spare screw and the precision screwdriver to tighten the screw on a daily basis to reduce the risk of losing the screw with how much use I put these knives through. The Scalpel version of this knife sports a much more secure blade retention system, and I can confidently say there is ZERO risk of this blade ever coming loose unintentionally, which is something I do like to see for something as dangerous as Scalpel blades.Using #60 blades makes this thing look like a murder weapon so I personally am using the #24 blades for breaking down/opening boxes, but being able to choose your blade style on demand is quite a nice feature, especially as there are more sizes of Scalpel blades than that.As for the overall footprint/profile of the knife, compared to the box cutter version it sheds quite a bit of weight and width but does not compromise on the deployment action at all.Pocket clip is well built and holds well to thick or thin pocket materials.I will edit this review if any mechanical/cosmetic issues happen, but for $40 this is a super sweet OTF knife, I recommend picking one up before it gets pulled like the utility blade versions did.

I like it - works for my use
Sometimes gets stuck and you have to reset it, easy enough, but works well. carried as an EDC bc i got tired of sharpening knives. Used to open boxes every day and cut cardboard. Not as stiff as a utility blade, but cuts clean.
