Bring It On Again [DVD]

Filmed 4 years after the original, this 2004 direct-to-video movie features an all new cast. The opening ten minutes or so are almost a re-run of the original format as Whittier (Anne Judson-Yager) arrives at College hoping to join the national champion varsity cheerleading team –the Stingers, where she meets up with cheerleader friend Monica (Faune Chambers). After tryouts, the film kicks into Full Metal Jacket mode as Head cheerleader Tina (Bree Turner) puts the girls through their paces. Things don’t go to plan as Whittier loses her new boyfriend, quits the team and almost loses her best friend. Undeterred the pair decide to launch their own squad.Despite not having the big budget and all star cast of the original, this sequel does a grand job and gives the first film a good run for its money. The mild language is toned down slightly more but it’s still a 12 rating presumably due to the bitchiness which is over the top fun. The film does sag a little in the middle part but it still makes great family viewing and there are more humorous moments in this and it does give more a team spirit approach as a bunch of misfits takes on the established Varsity cheerleaders.This may not be as polished as the original but it still has plenty of good routines, fine music, and credible acting and for its entertainment value -which must be good as it seems to be over before your ready for it, is equally deserving of a **** rating despite the fact it has no extras.

Good movies 🎥 follow up to the original despite none of the familiar actors from the first one. Good digital video conversion, nice and sharp, better than the dvd when viewed on a 4k tv 😊Nice colour saturation and sound quality. The story is.... well I'm not going to spoil it for you, you'll have to watch it yourself 😉I found it a good movie and just as good as the first one 😉

this is a good dvd it arrived very quickly i got it for my sister in law and she was very happy with it.

The follow on to the original film. Good to watch but not necessarily a keeper. Still has some good ideas but lacks so inspiration.
