Love how this looks, although I would have liked it to come with a storage bag for it. You may need to add a blanket or small cushion underneath, to help with the thinness of the mat. Otherwise as expected and I am excited to see how my baby will enjoy it!

Bought for my granddaughter who was around 4 months old. She was almost the entire length so every time she stretched her feet or head would hit the mesh. The mat is not big enough to use the balls.

This baby gym does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It has toys and “distractions” to keep infants engaged and even relaxed.I actually think the more muted colors (we got the rainbow version) make the whole thing look a bit classier and less gaudy (but then again, it’s for a baby, so who cares?…. Besides my wife ).Setup is pretty straightforward and only took a few minutes before this bad boy was ready for baby time. Switching to the various configurations is a breeze and the quality seems good enough that this will last for at least one infant before siblings or hand-me-downs.So, I did take off one star, and that’s because it comes with a fairly strong odor out of the box. Kind of like that overly chemical / cheap linen smell, but a bit more artificial. I normally wouldn’t care too much about it, but this is for an infant and it does make me wonder what I’m letting them touch (and even possibly put their mouth on) at times. No safety issues, and some cleaning did sort it out, but peace of mind did bump this one down from 5-stars.

This baby gym and play mat is great! If you are familiar with the Montessori parenting and teaching style, this fits right in. Most of all, I really appreciate the muted, gentle colors. So many baby/toddler items, especially play related items, are plastered in bright colors and images meant to captivate the baby's attention. I like that this particular item features gentler colors instead allowing both parent and baby to focus on the activities featured rather than the colors. I could leave this sitting out and not feel it was detracting from the look of the space it is in.I also love the different possibilities with this item, between the plastic balls for the ball pit and the hanging shapes, there is a lot here to entertain and stimulate your baby. Not to mention, the hanging shapes are very cute - I like the theme of sky/space, and the sun and star have a little smiley face on them that just tickled me! It's clear that the creator of this item took both parent and baby's interests to heart, creating an item that's not only functional but pleasing and enjoyable to look at. Highly recommend!
