warm and comfy, but size up
My wife typically wears small, but I ordered her the medium which fits slightly loose on her. It'd be a tight fit if I got her the small. She wears this for walking in the mild cold or casual wear around the house. It's not thick and heavy like you'd think something made of wool would be, like a sweater or a jacket. It's more like a zippered shirt. The high collar and thumb hole offer the options to warm up her neck and hands in case the wind picks up.The wool isn't itchy or scratchy and there's a good amount of stretch for flexibility and ease of movement. She also likes the extra length for additional coverage below her waist..The price is a bit steep but it does have a high wool content and it is well constructed and should last many seasons of use. Just be sure to size up appropriately as it does seem to be cut small.

Runs at least a size small
This jacket runs on the smaller side. According to the size chart, I’m a medium (34A, 30 inch waist, 130 pounds). The medium fits, but it’s very snug. I can layer one thin shirt underneath the jacket, that’s it. I wish I had sized up to a large so the jacket didn’t fit like a second skin. The jacket is made from 83% wool, 10% nylon, and 7% elastane. It has a slight bit of stretch, but not too much. I wore the jacket for a week without washing it, I had it on every night for 7-8 hours, so it spent a lot of time on me. It doesn’t have any hint of odor or wear. The wool is doing its job. The jacket kept its shape too, it’s not stretched out.I washed the jacket on gentle cycle in cold water and line dried. It washes well. The care tag actually has a reminder that merino wool doesn’t need to be washed as often as other fabrics; I’ll probably wash this once or twice a month. It is very lightweight. It’s not quite enough to keep me warm inside the house, I do have to jam a shirt underneath it. For outside wear, I think it would be great in the spring and fall, and even on chilly summer nights. For winter, it’s definitely a base layer, not enough by itself.

Nice look and feel - Runs small
This is a nice fleece that runs small. My wife is pictured wearing an XL (her normal size) and while it fits her, it is way too small to zip. Material seems high quality, just runs very small.

Very Nice - Size Runs On The Small Side
Nice sweater - not really a jacket. Well made and sewn. The fabric is very nice. Just order at least one size beyond what you might think.

Poor fit, thin fabric, and much too high a price
I was hoping to get a merino wool sweatshirt to give a bit of warmth during the sort of transitional period from autumn to winter. This looked lightweight enough but still good to have to warm myself. I was disappointed with a number of points and am puzzled at how this item and listing came together for a number of reasons.I wanted to wear this myself but was unable to. I normally wear a medium but due to the number of helpful reviews that suggested to size up, I went with the XL. Perhaps there is a lot of inconsistency with the sizing as different reviewers had suggested different things. This, in itself, could be an issue with quality assurance. Perhaps Creed from The Office is moonlighting in the QA department in addition to his work at the paper company (I would be glad if anyone reading this gets the reference). I ordered the largest size which is XL just in case.I was very confused to find that the XL is too small for me. I sized up to the nth degree and still found it did not fit well. I was able to give it to my daughter to wear. She normally wears a small and even ventures to extra small items on certain occasions. The sizing seems very misguided in my opinion. If you are a medium or above, I would recommend trying something else. However, another reason I would recommend another item is the price. I know that merino wool is pricier than others and thought a little over 100 would be okay, perhaps even a good deal for a quality sweater. This one was not. I have had a number of wool items, some that I have gotten recently and don't mind paying a bit more for premium quality. I think this is in more in the subpar range. The pricing versus the actual thickness and quality are night and day.I don't mean to rag on this item too much but was very confused and disappointed with this item. Of course, different people have different opinions but there are points that I think don't come down to differing points-of-view. I'm not sure if the sizing was done this way to save on fabric but I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case.

Warm, well made, slightly awkward fit
The Woolino Merino Wool Fleece Jacket for Women is soft and warm. The fabric has a somewhat ribbed texture on the inside that I did not expect, but it is comfortable. It is machine washable (hang dry only) and didn’t shrink noticeably. The stitching and dress zippers are good quality.I ordered the women's jacket in a size larger than I usually get (I ordered an XL). It fit through the body snugly, like an athletic fit. The fabric has a little stretch, but honestly, I don't think I would have been able to zip up anything smaller. The arms are a great length for me (I have long arms), but the shoulders are too wide and come down a little onto the arms, and the upper arms feel oversized- especially when compared to how snug the rest of the jacket is. This item will work well for me as a warm layer under a heavier jacket, or unzipped for casual wear.

Good spring coat
I got this jacket as a spring coat and it's great. Not too thick but the bit of warmth it does offer is great. It's very stretchy.

2 sizes smaller than expected, not wearable over clothes.
If you are tiny this is a great sweatshirt. Much too tight for any garment much less a jacket. I am normally an XL/12 with 38C chest, there is JUST enough stretch to the XL that I can wear it as a tight baselayer. If you are over size 10 or large-chested do not bother ordering. Otherwise it is a nice thin merino wool. The shoulders fit me perfectly and the thumbholes are comfortable. The seams look solid and the color is nice, the wool is soft, thin and not scratchy. It's unfortunate the sizing is so far off I can't recommend it to most people. Even the largest size would not fit an average American woman.
