REV X Mega Syphon - 1/2" x 10 Foot Long Self Priming Safe Siphon Hose for Water, Gas, Fuel, Diesel

I keep this in my truck with my diesel tanks and works great, beats using the battery operated pumps that never work when you need them to. The only negative is the discoloration after use.

Have used it once and worked well. Will work better when I develop a technique to get it started. A little expensive for a piece of plastic pipe and simple bailer valve.

At the time that I ordered, there was no mention of the main nozzle being larger than the 1/2inch advertised.This proved to be the limiting factor in my not being able to use it with my 1994 Ford Explorer.The hose fit perfectly, but being that the nozzle has to go into the tank first... It wasted Amazon's shipping, and my time.Thankfully, Amazon was first rate, and returning it was a snap.The vendor said that they would update their listing reflecting the "discrepancy".I was kind of disappointed to have to return it, because it was far higher quality (especially on the connection between the nozzle and the hose) than the one that was almost identical to the one I looked at at Napa. (The one at Napa had a barbed nozzle, that fell off before even trying to use it. Incidentally, its nozzle was too large as well.)

I tried for about a half-hour to make it work, and did not achieve success. Would have appreciated something to help understand the operation, but so far a waste of money.
