Great piece of kit.
Having a fussy newborn is never easy so my partner bought this particular model after several recommendations from midwives and even doula's. It's easy to use and straight forward to clean and causes no pain or discomfort to my partner (everyone's different though so don't shout at me if you do feel something.)One important thing to note is that you have to dry the "cup" where it connects to the piping with a thin rolled up piece of kitchen roll completely before pumping otherwise water travels through the piping into the pump itself. Only happened to us once and we soon learned what the issue was. The manufacturers solution was to buy new piping but clean pressurized air done the trick saving a few quid.Would definitely recommend.

AMAZING
Amazing product. I purchased the Elvie ones before these and the E traumatised me. This product is so much better. It’s the brand they use in hospital. Very good succion. The battery last long too. It’s a bit noisy but it’s fine. The size is adaptable if you have bigger breast like mine they sell even bigger size separately at an affordable price. It’s much cheap than the Elvie one. Looks and feels sturdier too. If you are a bit lost but want the best I highly recommend these. I tried and wasted so much money but this is the ONE. They are truly the best brand and product, nothing is as good as that on the market.

Stopped working after 4 months
Like so many other reviews, my pump has suddenly stopped working after 4 months. It has lost suction and intermittently switches on and off with very strange noises coming from the unit. It had also recently begun to spill, the membranes aren’t made to last. The pump was expensive and I am so reliant on it as my baby exclusively drinks expressed milk. We are outside of the return window so a lot of money wasted and we’ll need to replace so my child can be fed! Very disappointed.

Best breast pump I’ve found
There is a reason Medela pumps cost more, I have tried four other brands and these are the only ones that work for me! Maybe I am sensitive, but other types are very painful to use even on the lowest settings while the Medela empties my milk without hurting. It’s also quieter than any others I’ve tried. The pump is straightforward to put together, use and clean. The charge only lasts about three pumping sessions (about one hour of pumping), but it recharges quickly. Also customer service is amazing and my defective pump was replaced quickly, the replacement was delivered within 24 hours of my complaint.

It does a job
Build quality is good. It's compact and sturdy. Definitely a good option for those who travel a lot. It's easy to use with minimal bells and whistles. The lack of a display is initially annoying if you're used to having one but you get over it quickly. It charges quickly. Having USB is convenient, as is the two funnel sizes. We'd prefer longer pipes though to make it more functional in different spaces as the pump has to stay very close to you.

Disappointing - you need three hands!
I purchased this pump after hearing many good things about Medela breast pumps. When I first open the box and assembled the pump, I wasn’t sure how on earth I was meant to hold both bottles and switch the pump on at the same time I purchased a pumping bra, to hold the bottles in however this meant that the suction came loose around my breasts and therefore it didn’t work effectively. I have to use one at a time which takes twice as long and I find it quite uncomfortable even with the correct flange size I’m very glad I purchased this at a reduced price , as I would be quite disappointed if I had spent more money on it.

Does a job but restricts you doing other jobs.
I did loads of research and thought this would be the best pump to get.Its good for getting milk out but I did find myself having to hold onto the pumps during it so I thought I would buy the bra to help free my hands up so I could get on with chores but then found my milk would spill out if I lent over to get washing out of the washer or pick up my baby from the basket. Also the round device part is heavy and bulking to carry around!I also found when on my own that holding my baby with them attached is difficult and baby knocks them off. Battery life isn't that brilliant either. Wish I went for something more subtle to put in my bra to do the job. Real shame.

Don’t hesitate to buy!
I’m now 5 months postpartum and finally decided to give the hands-free milk collection cups a go…all I will say is I wish I’d bought them sooner!Just after our baby was born, I ordered the Medela Swing Maxi with the regular attachments and, albeit you can be hands-free when using the collection bottles in combination with a breast pumping bra, you’ll still struggle to get things done and will have difficulty holding baby if needed! Whereas using these collection cups, you can carry on about your day near enough as normal! 10/10 would recommend to any mum :-)
