The birch covering on the base I received was very dark and nothing like the picture. I thought I needed it for my wedding and didn’t end up using as it didn’t look right with my birch decorations. I should have returned.

NOT easy to carve - I wish I didn't buy it.
The vase itself is cute and a good size, but it is SO difficult to carve. Got it for my wife to try to be romantic and was embarrassed by how difficult it was to carve. You can't even read our initials. Don't buy!

Came damaged.
The birch was ripped off the top of the base. I had to hit glue fake flowers to hide the damaged part.
