I love this beef tallow. I use it as moisturizer. I found a recipe to blend it with jojoba oil and blue tansy essential oil. That makes a great lotion. I've also applied it straight out of the jar. This tallow is so clean. It's suet tallow, which has the most nutrients. It's smooth. It's cream white. There's almost no smell. I cook with beef tallow too, but I use this exclusively for skin care. Made in the midwest. It's high quality, great price.

I just made whipped tallow moisturizer/body butter and it came out great! I also used it for cooking and it's perfect. So much better than a seed oil, of course, but also avocado or olive oil due to it's high oxidation threshold! I used to use the brand Epic Tallow before-- not good. It was yellow and looking grainy, the fat would liquify at room temp and really smell like beef fat. I did not know how bad Epic was until I tried this amazing one because it is more white, stays solid at room temp, doesn't add a potent beef fat taste to my food and feels so much better in my skin care products I make! 10/10 recommend

I bought this for my body skin. I also do apply to my face from time to time. I'm in my mid 60s.PROS:1. Super hydrating. I've tried tons of different creams from different countries, but this makes my skin look so much smoother and less wrinkled than anything else. Particularly the inside of my arms near my shoulders. You know, that area that once you get to a certain age, you don't want to go sleeveless. Really makes my skin look and feel great.2. Grass fed suet tallow is loaded with lots of great nutrients. Omega 3’s, stearic acid, and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), vitamins A, D, E, K2, B12 and choline. Skin is our largest organ and is a great way to absorb those nutrients. It just feels good when I smear it on. I'm mostly vegan, and this is a great way to supplement these nutrients without eating meat.3. A little goes a long way. For use as skin cream, it's a great price.Potential CONS:1. Smells like beef. Not an overwhelming or bad smell, but it's there. Definitely does not smell rancid. If a beef smell is an issue for you or someone you live with, you might not like it. I've thought about adding lavender essential oil, but don't really feel the need. No one has noticed the smell on me.2. Best to apply with time to let it soak in. Then I rub off any excess before dressing. Having said that, I have yet to have it stain or mark an item of clothing.It's a great skin care item.Adding an edit: After using for a week, really is great skincare!

the tallow is amazing. i love the fact that is in a glass jar. i don’t like the fact that it isn’t sealed, so removed one star.

Even though i have not tried other brands , after going through 1 jar…. i will ONLY be buying this brand. Used in cooking and made my own face lotion using this. VERY SMOOTH AND 100% HIGH QUALITY.

This is my first time using beef tallow. I looked for a while reading all comments on different brands looking for the best one and this one checked all the boxes. It is SO smooth I literally needed just a couple of the tiniest dabs on my finger for my face it goes a long way. Yes it has a bit of a smell when first opening but when you use it the smell goes away and is perfect. Only downside is that it expires exactly a year from today and I just don't think I can use it all in one year as I still have coconut oil from 2 years ago half way used lol.. the value for money is perfect for this product, the performance is perfect, health benefits are amazing, and the seal to the jar was perfect with no leaks. Get it!
