This was a nice color but really no plumping. It does have a nice gloss to it which I usually like a Mat.te but this solves the problem of having to put a gloss over the top. There is no taste and there is no tingling It's not effective at plumping your lips Application is just like any other lipstick, but I will say the contents are small. The color doesn't last long, but it is pretty. Good to carry with you for easy application. On the go and a little shine

I didn’t expect to be this into it, but this lip plumping pen is kind of everything. I grabbed it because I already love e.l.f. products and their price is always right. They just get it. So many other brands charge three times as much for stuff that barely works or irritates my skin. I thought it might be another gloss that feels tingly for no reason or leaves my lips sticky, but this one actually delivers. It plumps fast, feels super lightweight, and doesn’t cause any irritation at all. In fact, it’s very moisturizing so I tend to apply it instead of chapstick. There’s a subtle minty tingle that feels fresh without being overwhelming, and it fades in a way that makes your lips still look good without needing to reapply constantly. What really sold me is the little click-pen design. It’s just easy. No mess, no squeezing a tube, no hunting for a mirror. It fits in any purse and somehow just makes putting on gloss feel fun again. Its very thick. The color is pretty but dont expect it to spread like chapstick for the soft look. Wicked Cherry isnt as red as it shows in the photo (Lip line up). Its Brown with a tinge of dark red. The swatch photo is accurate though. Its got a nice minty feel on the lips but by no means "lip plumping". This is the type of product you know you will not eat after you apply. Not that it stays, but its thick enough to look like lipstick and gloss all in one. Id definitely use a lip liner with this and keeping it within the lines since it doesnt have that blur effect the way a creamier lighter product would. This is a product you dab, not smear onto your lips. Great for the night out or a date. Not for every day eating and drinking (well you could) unless you carried a mirror with you to make sure it looks good. Is it worth it? Yes. Depends on the occasion. Would I buy another? If they had more shades, maybe. But Im a slightly blurred lip kinda gal and Im not always in the mood to have a full perfect lip. This would be perfect for achieving that dark sharp lip look. Other than the thick consistency, its actually a good product.

I LOVE THIS PEN. This light pink coloring is a naturally beautiful color and it gives a decent amount of plump to my lips. It doesnt burn or use ingredients that burn and cause you to think its plumping just because it stings. This actually makes my lips feel plump..Just no weird stinging sensation. It hydrates and leaves a nice gloss to the lips. Its lasts for hours, depending on what you're doing in that time..kissing, drinking, eating, smoking.. Anyway, I love this and will get all colors that will compliment my complexion. I already got the clear.. for the price, you get a good amount and...this beats out even the more expensive brands..the ones that claim to be extreme lip injector plumpers..

I really like how this feels on. Applies smoothly, lips stay hydrated & cool. I took a risk on which color, and am happy to say it was exactly what I hoped it would be & looks attractive. I’m surprised it stays on as long as it does as I am constantly drinking water & only need to reapply a couple times a day. The shine is acceptable, not over the top or making my lips appear smaller. I think I’ll be using this as an everyday lip wear vs. my repair & hydrating lip balm. I removed 2 stars because I’m not impressed with the click mechanism. I like the idea, but the way this works isn’t ideal. Each click is minuscule. I have to click it against my counter a half dozen times to get it 1-2mm above the applicator. Even that isn’t enough because the edges of the applicator will wipe off what you just applied- causing you to go through more product. Additionally, you cannot twist it back down, so if you have more than just a tiny bit peaking over the edge, the lid will squish it down. By the time I’m done applying to both lips, I’ll have had to do 3-4 rounds of half a dozen clicks. Boo! I wish each click gave you a noticeable amount of lipstick. By doing a little at a time, it interrupts your flow & causes more frustration.

This lip plumper is amazing! It keeps my lips feeling soft and hydrated for hours. I also love the click-up design—it’s convenient and easy to use. This is already my second one, and I’m absolutely loving it!

Not terrible, but not fabulous. Cons: First of all, the clicker advance button has got to go. I put this in my purse and it advanced on its own inside the cap. Second, the application can be a bit sloppy. Just warning you now: on't advance the balm past the opening or you'll have a mess on your lips. Third, the colors aren't great either. Mauve is a tan with a little purple thrown in. It's not something I'd normally wear, but it doesn't look awful. Pros: While it's a bit gloopy, it's not sticky. You don't have your lips sticking together or a balm string attaching both lips. Also, the plumping doesn't hurt like most products. In fact, I'd say the plumping is just the mint they've added to the product to make your lips feel different. I don't think my lips are any bigger, but they do look better. Lastly, it's a comfortable balm. I have Sjogrens and very sensitive skin. So far, it's not irritating in any way. If they had better colors, I'd consider purchasing more of these.
