This came safely packaged and was easy to put together.It works really well for charring vegetables such as peppers, tomatoes & chillies for sauces and salsas etc.I've not used it for creme brûlée but I'm sure it does a great job.It's easy to operate and keep control of the flame size with a gentle touch to adjust how much fire you need.I've used it to char the skin of fresh mackerel fillets that I seasoned with a little oil and a pinch of kosher salt before finishing in a frying pan/air fryer for a few minutes to cook the flesh.

It feels great it’s very strong not like these other cheap ones. Can easily control the flame and it very easy to click. Fits perfectly on my gas bottles!Tip: if anyone has oil on the drive burn it away with a hot flame. Might look weird doing it but it works!

Warning potential threat to lifeYes i am serious, i used this once i followed the instruction pressed the blow torch on to a full can of propane/butane mix that was supplied with the purchase. this went well, apart from a little hissing noise which i assumed was just the valve, how wrong was I....well i pulled the trigger to light the gas and see what i could burn with it only for the gas canister to fall off!!! Odd i thought no worries ill just pick it up, only i look down and to my horror this thing is travelling around my kitchen still with the valve nozzle attached and is spewing out flammable gas everywhere when i say spewing i mean it is like this thing is just on and everything inside the can is escaping as fast as it can..Now having known of a house two streets over, where a dog turned the stove on next to a small can of one of these and i still find glass in my garden from the explosion.....I dove for this thing picking it up and running outside (luckily the backdoor was unlocked) and just putting it out there. Meanwhile this can is still spewing 50 billion cubic meters of flammable gas everywhere. I ended up having to pry the broken nozzle off the top of the gas canister with a pair of pliers, (for once my sons not putting the tools away was a god send).As you can see from the images attached the metal inside the handle was faulty and just broke on first use.I have tried to contact the manufacturers only to go to a holding page for many like manufacturers....I suppose you pays ya money you gets ya choice.So word of warning, if you like to live dangerously this is the product for you.

I bought it mainly for the butane gas bottles, and the torch was a bonus. It works well, but the torch lock broke on the second use. It's made of cheap plastic, but I can't complain since I got the gas bottles for something else, and they are good quality.

Wood so I could varnish it effect was very good lasted a long time. Very reasonable if bought with the gas cylinders I still have plenty left after doing two chairs and a bench not to be used outside down

Cans are ok, but cheaply made spray gun attachment broke instantly.Contains cheap plastic internal parts that snapped straight away. Couldn’t even use it!
