A few months ago I decided to switch most of my toiletry products to products that had been identified as safer/healthier alternatives and I love this product! It washes out easy during my showers and it offers a good shine and a good hold throughout my day!! It could be viewed as greasy, but I think it’s fine and I really like the smell of this as well. It was a great alternative fine!

My husband says this is the best hair clay he’s ever used!! It holds super well and washes out super easily. He doesn’t even need to use hairspray with this stuff. The fact that it’s low tox makes it a win-win for the both of us!

Do like the reshapeable hold. Can fall apart, but can be reshaped and put back into place. It is very sticky texture wise. Does take a couple shampoo rinses to rinse fully out. Appreciate the nice matte finish.

My husband is very particular about his hair gel and it has taken many failed attempts at finding a healthier/nontoxic option for him. He loves this cream as it is not greasy or sticky and it holds his hair style nicely. No overpowering scent. Will continue to repurchase.

I’ve tried a lot of different clay products and this one would be rated a ZERO if possible. The product is fairly hard out of the jar. Once you warm up the clay in your hands by rubbing your hands together it is more pliable but it leaves a long term waxy residue on your hands. I had to wash my hands 5 times with soap and the residue was still there. I then had to use a towel scrub the wax off my hands. When it came time to wash it out of my hair, I had to wash my hair 4 times with shampoo and it still felt like a waxy residue was left behind.I’d stay away from using this product. You might as well use candle wax instead. I’d highly recommend the Aveda clay instead. Doesn’t leave a reside and it’s the best clay in the market.

It is a decent product with adequate hold. The worst thing is about the jar/container versus the product itself. The twistable cover is hard to get on the glass jar and is very frustrating. Texture is very soft, almost like a lotion and easy to wash out of hair. If you do any exercise, running or a lot of movement the hold will collapse. I do recommend the product but it's not at all like a paste or other pastes on the marker.

Start with… packaging is nice. Salon-like, nice tub and the top screws off smoothly.Smell - kinda like clay, kinda like lavender.Feel - this is where you lost me. A little bit, per instructions, spread on palms, worked into hair, through the roots and up, does not have very much hold - maybe none at all. Don’t use more though - characteristic of wax products, it will clog up your hair.Then good luck washing it out. Wash rinse repeat, repeat, repeat, …..
