I like it as much as I’d hoped to
I had an old “Dust Buster” back in the 90’s. Great concept, poor execution. Bummer. THEN my boyfriend got this vacuum for xmas 2 years ago. I’ve used it at his house that whole time & loved it. Finally I decided I needed my own. We each have 2 dogs (+ his cat). This is a real helper! I was very excited about it, & was actually so impressed by the careful packaging when it arrived that I took pics. But I held off on my review until I’d used it a while. I use it frequently in my house for all the fur/dust bunnies that accumulate in between uses of the big vacuum. Works well for pet hair (& my own too) & it’s so nice not having to haul out the big vac for quick little pick ups. It even picks up kibble (& cat litter). I don’t keep mine on the charger constantly but my boyfriend does, neither of us have had any battery issues. At first I wasn’t sure about how to clean out the vacuum after use. I found that it was easier for me to understand when I went to the link for the replacement filters. There are some mixed reviews about this product, & I can’t help thinking maybe some people who didn’t like it may have had the same confusion I initially did when emptying it, so I included pictures I hope will be helpful. I can really tell the filter works by the difference (shown in my pictures) between the outside & inside of the dirty filter during clean out. And I love that there’s a spare filter, so that one can be washed and drying while a clean, dry one is in the vacuum. After owning & using it for over 2 months I love this little vacuum just as much as I had hoped!

Upgrade from what I had-2 month after purchase review-no incentives accepted for review
This review is 2 months after purchase. My hand held dirt devil vac died. It was weak on suction & on how long it would stay on when used). I wanted an upgrade, but my expectations were low. This was recommended to my by my daughter who often has cat related messes. She was very pleased with how it performed, so I decided to try it. It is a bit bigger than anticipated (considering the filter size/how much it can hold at a time) but I was very pleased with how:1)sturdy it sits in the base2)the suction power3)how it stays on (And without holding the button!)4) how long it can maintain it's suction power in a single use5)how it comes apart so that you can get all the stuff that's been sucked up out (Even from the nozzle area)6)how quickly it recharges7)sturdy washable filters :I was used to unwashable filters, so this was a nice change. I use a stiff brush to clean off the filter & then ran it under a brisk spray of water, left it out to dry . Really impressed that so much of it is accessible for cleaning & of how quick it is to clean.8)Green light to let me know it's charged & ready9) accessory tools: easy on ,off & to clean<This review was written without any incentive for it.>

Satisfied overall, could benefit from design improvements...
The primary use of the vacuum is to remove cat litter from the floor of the laundry room every morning. If you have cats (we have four, don’t judge), you know how they love to kick litter out of the litter pail. Plus, litter gets wedged between their toe beans and they leave a trail of it on the floor as they exit the poopatorium. The vacuum does a decent, but not great, job at this. Because suction seems to be adequate, I blame the 65 degree angle touted by the manufacturer: it is simply too steep to suck up all the litter particles and some inevitably fall back to the floor before making it into the container. To solve this, I keep the long extension inserted, the end of which has a shallower angle and gets all the litter in one pass.Much has already been written about the overly complicated container emptying process so I won’t belabor that point. I would, however, like to criticize the way the vacuum is placed on the charger stand. Here’s how it should work: the vacuum is guided 100% of the way until it makes contact with the charger. But that isn’t how it works. There is way too much “play” and I usually have to move the vacuum around until it slots itself in. Not a biggie, but something that can be improved.Am I glad I purchased this? Yes. It’s well-made, battery life has not been an issue, and it basically does the job. It would be nice, though, if it didn’t suffer from the flaws mentioned above.

Not many great qualities
I was very optimistic when buying this based on the reviews. It came fully charged which was cool because I wanted to vacuum my car that day. The battery life is quite low considering you charge it for 3-5 hours and it only lasts about 30 mins max. I had to use the attachments to clean my car carpets for sure and the hair clumped up which had to be cleaned out of the bristles often (which is fine I just thought it would suck the hair up instead) I feel like the suction power is not where it should be. I have to go over a spot in my house a few times to pick up the crumbs on the wood floor so I think I’ll just be using it for the car and not inside the house which I wanted it for considering I have two babies who spill lots of crumbs. I would say it’s just okay. Not amazing or special. Especially for the price. I wish I had gotten a Shark.

Used this to Clean up Broken Glass, Hair, Crackers, Wet Leaves on Porch
I searched far and wide for a high wattage vacuum that's able to suck wet things without dying so that I could double its use as a wet leaf "blower" (it will suck rather than blow since it's a vacuum) for all the dried leaves and weeds that the wind carries onto my apartment porch and since I'm in the PNW, it gets wet before I get to it. I have not used it to suck up pure liquids but it definitely sucked up wet leaves no problem. In the time I've bought it, I've used it to detail my car, clean up pieces from my toddler's monthly haircut that the roomba doesn't get), suck up what amounted to 2-3 pounds of broken glass shards (I had my car windows smashed on a Sunday when no auto glass shop was open). I took this and vacuumed up all the pieces of broken glass so I could use the car without worrying about all the glass shards. Did I mention that I have a toddler? This works wonders for the bits of crackers and chips that get into carseat. I honestly didn't think that a vacuum would improve my quality of life this much but this vacuum is seriously the best piece of $40-$50 appliance in my home.
