ASICS Women's Gel-Contend 8 Running Shoes

Love the color, fit, support and comfort!

I cannot believe how much I love these shoes! Taking up running after many years & bought these after much research. They are SO comfortable straight out of the box—wide toe box, supportive yet low profile. They are also surprisingly CUTE! They actually make my size 8 feet look small. :-) To that end, I’m a true 8 across brands, and these are no exception. I have worn these daily for a week to exercise and am thrilled with my experience. Definitely recommend.

These shoes are very comfortable for taking long walks or wearing for running errands. The deep red color is lovely. I have very high arches and these shoes provide the support needed. I am a size 6 but had yo buy a size 6.5. The shoes are not too tight or snug , so are blister resistant. Overall, very comfortable. The heel height is just right for me, im 5ft 4" so theyre perfect. They're great value for money, I may purchase a second pair.

I wear an eight or an 8 1/2 in a running or athletic shoe. I first ordered the size 8 and realized they were much too small so I returned them for the 8 1/2. Sometimes it’s hard to tell the true fit of a shoe until you have worn it a few times, but after a few wearings, I realized that the shoe was a bit narrow and pressed into my pinky toes. After speaking with a sales associate, at an athletic shoe store, he confirmed that ASICS do run somewhat narrow. I did use a shoe stretcher to try to stretch them out a bit, and I think I made it work. Other than it being a narrow fit at the toes, the shoe is really great, cushiony, and has a nice look. I wouldn’t recommend this shoe to someone who needs a wider fit, but if you do not, it is a well made shoe for a run or a work out.

ASICS are great shoes. I use them to work out. They have just enough padding and comfort.

These shoes work really well for my feet as I need room above my toes. The toe-box is high enough that there is no pressure on the top of my toes. I usually wear an 8.5 or a 9 in shoes, but in this brand I wear a 9.5. It is more accurate for this brand to go with the metric system which measures 39.5. I’ve worn this brand for about 6 years and always buy the 9.5, it’s a perfect fit.

I am a CMA and am constantly on my feet. These shoes are comfortable and stylish. I receive so many compliments about these shoes. Worth the money!

This is the third pair of Asics in various colors bought together. I walk daily and have been wearing them for several years. This particular pair is quite uncomfortable, unlike the other two. The usual cushioning is missing. Guess I will not shop online for my walking shoes in the future.

Me gusta mucho esta marca pues padezco espolón calcaneo en ambos pies y fascitis plantar, esta marca es la única en la que piso cómodamente sin usar plantillas ortopédica.

Sizing was right on. Not a lot of cushioning but fit comfortably.

Pedí el número con desconfianza, porque decían que vienen muy justos, pero no fue así. De hecho, pienso que medio número menos hubiera está bien, porque lo aumenté por los comentarios. Son muy cómodos y se ven de buena calidad. Llegan en su casa original.
