Well we don't use activated charcoal every day, but we keep it on hand in case there's an emergency involving poison or something that the charcoal will help with. We have a golden retriever who likes to pick up everything. We keep this on hand should he swallow something that could potentially poison him. It helps with excess gas too when you've indulged a little too much. Capsule form helps with dosing and ingestion. Hope we never NEED it, but we'll be glad we have it if we do!
