I really wanted to love this bench. However, it falls a little short. While the shelves are adjustable the pictures lead you to believe that the cushion can be swapped to either side. This is not the case. It can only be installed on the right side (ride hand side when you are facing the bench). Also the predrilled screw holes in the cushion and a few other spots did not line up properly. Several screws ended up going in at an angle and not flush. Finally there were a few gaps in the frame woodwork of the mini sliding barn doors.It'll do what I need it to do. Provide a place to sit, put shoes on and store a few pairs of shoes. But the quality/ quality control is lacking. I took a chance on this purchase as there were no previous reviews to go by. I probably would not purchase this bench had I the opportunity to do it over but I don't want to go through the hassle of taking it apart, boxing it back up and shipping it back.I'll live with it.
