Interesting Form of Art
I love puzzles so I knew I would enjoy this thing called diamond painting. My grandson introduced me to it because they do it in school. This painting is gorgeous. I watched a few videos before I decided to try it. All turned out well. I really had to work with the adhesion because I had no tweezers to correct my mistakes. They were not in the kit. I now know the importance of the tweezers. Still, the painting looks great and I have even framed it. It took me a few weeks to complete it. It is an extremely inexpensive project.

High quality diamond painting
I absolutely love this diamond painting! All of the materials are provided to complete this diamond painting, including the diamond setting tool, container to hold diamonds, wax, and all of the diamonds you need. The diamonds themselves are gorgeous - the colors are so pretty and seem to be of good quality! I really love that this painting is a bit larger than the letter size ones I had been previously completing.A tip for diamond painting beginners - get yourself a cheap clear plastic bead organizer. There are many options here on Amazon! I have a set that has small rows of 3-4 chambers to make it easier to keep the diamonds I'm working with at one time close by. It also makes it less messy than trying to store all of your diamonds in plastic bags!

Better Instruction
I ordered this picture as a fun project for myself, but it doesn’t come with instructions on how to effectively complete the art project. I’m going to have to Google it, to get a basis on how to complete the task correctly. I’ve never done a diamond painting before, but they don’t provide resealable bags for the diamonds once they’re open. They don’t have any clarity on how to properly use the pen with the wax. It’s not making me excited to start because I don’t feel like I’m clear on how I can be successful in completing it. Beautiful picture, but there needs to be detailed instructions with visuals to explain how to complete the painting.

Eye Catching Diamond Art
This diamond painting turned out absolutely beautiful once framed. The design of the woman with a headscarf is stunning, and the detail really shines when the light hits the diamonds. The round diamonds were easy to work with and gave the artwork a nice, textured finish. The 12x16 inch size is perfect for displaying in an entryway or any part of the home. Also, diamond art is very meditative and this one was a lot of fun to do. Once framed, it becomes a real statement piece. If you're looking for a project that results in something truly eye-catching, this is a great choice.

So relaxing....
** Long review alert**This is so great for someone who needs a creative way to wind down or relieve stress. I *do* have a couple of gripes, but overall a fantastic way to "get out of your head".First I'll start by saying, I haven't finished the entire picture. I started it when my son came down with a horrible cold that ended up developing into pneumonia. Naturally I was stressed, tired, but also needed to administer medications and such on a schedule so I needed to be awake. I had gotten this in a couple of weeks prior but decided to sit down and get it started to alleviate some of the stress and worry I was experiencing. My first hope is that they send you a large amount more diamond colors than you actually need to complete any one section...because after opening a couple of packs incorrectly...my dogs having an all out foot-of-the-bed war... and my son doing some restless tossing and turning....we will be locating diamond colors probably until we sell this house and move out. I wouldn't be surprised if we then found them in whatever new adventure we embark upon. I mean seriously...I worked in law enforcement as a parole officer and when doing my intake appointments I would always advise anyone who wasn't allowed to be around ammunition or things that use them...to do a deep sweep of their home because ammo multiplies like wildfire and can be found everywhere...that is what these diamond colors are...thats what they do. They multiply. I have found them literally everywhere. Okay, I'm sure you get the point.Second, I'm unsure if there were any actual instructions included but the entire thing is pretty self explanatory...except for what exactly you are supposed to do with the wax on the end of the diamond applicator.. Is it supposed to go inside the hole? a rolled bead of wax around the hold? wrapped around the whole thing? Who knows? I tried a combination of all of the above and found better control when packing the wax inside the small hole on the applicator...enough so it could easily grab the lifted peak of the diamond. The colors of the painting are beautiful. I don't know what makes it "for beginners", "intermediate", or "advance" however I do plan to find out because I will be doing more of these in the future. Now for my gripes:I don't know why there are different numbers on the color guide. It took me a second to realize I should just be looking for the number inside the circle. Perhaps the other numbers are for packaging purposes. Like if they use the same color for different pictures? The packaging of the diamonds, while practical for them I'm sure, lacks severely for the end user. If you don't actually CUT them, you run the risk of tearing a pack you aren't actually trying to open and then having a diamond disaster on your hands...feet....bed...floor....dogs...you get it.. They send some little envelopes with the kit which is weird because...it isn't enough to hold each individual color included....it also presents the question of why they wouldn't just send them in individual zip top baggies in the first place... that way they are resealable, labeled AND already prepared for use. Perhaps there is a real reason for packaging the way it is, a reason I would be interested to know.Overall this is a really relaxing activity I would recommend to anyone who is working on emotional regulation, anxiety management, stress relief, overthinking...or just creatives who enjoy an activity that isn't overly complex or complicated!

One of the best quality diamond paintings ive done.
I was super happy with how this diamond painting turned out. A lot of times when you get a diamond painting, it cant look "pixelated". I did not have this issue with this painting. It was super easy to read the chart, the diamonds didnt have any defects, and it comes with everything you need to complete the painting. It comes with a tray to settle your diamonds in, baggies to put the diamonds in, a pen to adhere your diamonds with, as well as a wax piece to adhere diamonds with. This painting looks really well when its complete. I hung it up and have gotten a lot of compliments and questions about it. Even her lashes are easily noticeable which can be hard to do because its so small in comparison to the diamonds. The diamonds have a nice sheen to them without looking overly plastic. This painting would be good for newcomers as well as those use to completing diamond paintings. the diamonds come in plastic bags that are labeled, so all you have to do is match the symbol on the painting to a number on the chart that is attached to the painting. Then match that number to the number on the bags. There are plenty of diamonds so even if you spill or lose some, you will still have plenty to get your painting done. This was enjoyable for me, and one of my favorites i have completed so far. definitely recommend.
