These replaced the steering links on a mobility scooter for a tenth of the cost

Well made and a strong joint

These 8mm rod ball ends seem reasonable quality to me, the casting, machining and finish are all clean, and the body is fairly chunky. They seem to have around 40 degrees total movement. The threads are very slightly loose (but just very free nut spinning as opposed to properly slack). The balls themselves are nice and snug in the cup with no obvious play. Overall I'd say they aren't super premium, but they seem strong and useful enough for general applications.

For the price these are fairly decent....although they are not going to be able to withstand very high loading....and have less axial movement than more expensive ones they will do a good job in the right use....things like controls....linkages etc

The ballj oin I bought is rubbish the one end of the m8 ball joint is a different thread to the other m8 end so there no good more money down the drain from amazon. no rating

Good quality little ball joint for small scale vehicles and projects. M8 female threaded ends work great with 3/8inch steel rod (just need to thread the 3/8in ends with an M8 die). I tried a few different fasteners/rod ends and found these ball joints the best and easiest hardware for my small E vehicle application.

I have an old air cooled VW with dual Webers and I needed longer linkages. Lots of places sell set length arms for $25-50. I got these and two pieces of 5mm threaded rod and they worked great. Zero play in the linkage. Only down side is it takes a little more time to get everything adjusted because its not LH/RH threads but I got mine set dead on and everything together cost less than $10 and I got to set the length exactly where I wanted it.
