The media could not be loaded. This pickup tube is a simple contraption with a couple of neat added features. If you don’t plan on picking up that many balls, you can easily use the tube in its “double walled,” out-of-the-box form. However, most people will probably want to expand the tube to twice its length, which you can do by using the attached connector sleeve. One small design aspect that I love about this item is the elastic strap at one end of the tube, which helps to both keep balls from sliding out and hold the tube together in its “double walled” form. The fence hooks are also a nice feature… as long as you aren’t worried about people sniping your pickleballs at shared courts! While I see other reviewers noting that pickleballs get stuck in the tube, I have not faced this problem.There are a few downsides to this product that are worth mentioning. For one, the process of lengthening the tube isn’t the most intuitive at first and resizing the shoulder strap to the right length so that the two tube halves fit together can be a bit cumbersome. Additionally, even in its collapsed, double-walled form, the product is still a bit bulky (the product video says the item is an “ultra compact 2-piece design,” which is a stretch, to say the least). Most notably, the material feels a bit flimsy. While I admit the tube holds up much better than it may appear, I can only imagine that in cold temperatures (or after heavy use), some critical parts of the item (e.g., the plastic teeth around the end ring, the connector sleeve) could be prone to cracking or breaking, affecting the utility of the product.That being said, if you live in a warm climate and are gentle on the item, you’ll find the product works as it should. The tube also serves a helpful purpose beyond simply being an easy way to pick up balls after drilling: I can see it being especially beneficial for those with mobility challenges. For instance, my friend finds that using this product makes it easier to play pickleball with his son, who has cerebral palsy.All in all, a useful product, but one that likely isn’t “buy for life.”

The media could not be loaded. In just 5 months of nominal use, the teeth at the end of the tube are broken and the catcher wont catch any balls.The strap and the hooks on the sides of the strap is broken, it is falling apart. I wouldn't recommend it.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using this pick up tube for a couple of months now, and I don’t go to a drill session without it. You wouldn’t think that you’d need it until you’ve tried it. It really helps to relive some tension off of your body when you’re picking up many balls during practice sessions. It’s lightweight, durable, and straight forward to use. The only issue I’ve come across is when balls are made a tad bigger, they will get a little stuck and you have to use a little extra force to get it out. Otherwise this is a great product to add to your drilling arsenal. This + the go sports ball caddy is an incredible duo!

I wouldn't use this for pickleballs, but it really helps in pickup up tennis balls. I love how you can collapse it so that it's half the size of regular tubes. However, not sure why they designed it so that you can't just collapse the smaller tube into the bigger tube. You have to take the 2 pieces apart, flip one of them, and then out the smaller tube into the bigger tube. Sometimes it's not that easy to take them apart because the tubes are stuck.

These were the cheapest pickup tubes I saw online and they pretty much do the job. They are very easy to assemble and I like that they can break down to half the size for easy transport even inside my pickleball machine! It was a little difficult to press the balls in to the front end and Im not sure if thats bad design or just has to get worked in. On the other hand, using the back end with the elastic band is actually much smoother of a ball collection, although it was meant to just keep the balls in the tubes from leaking out before emptying the balls into the machine. Overall, very happy and would recommend!

Bought a similar one (with the grip/grabber claws) a couple years back but haven't been able to find another. So many are made with just the rubber band (and they suck). *we use ours for just tennis balls*
