I'm not sure why but nothing I try is letting me fold this dryer. I looked in the instructions and again here on this listing but there are no special instructions other than just trying to move it into the desired position, which doesn't work with mine. I even tried applying more pressure, but then the seam along the dryer part of the barrel started to separate, so I stopped doing that.Other than not being able to fold, which was a very desirable feature for me, it's a great dryer. It's adjustable both in temperature and in speed and has a cool button you can use intermittently while using heat. It dried my hair super fast and relatively smoothly. My hair is naturally on the frizzy side so I wouldn't say it performed any miracles but my hair came out as it would with other similar dryer types. I also thought it was pretty quiet compared to the old style dryers and at the highest speed is pretty impressive. For longer hair like mine is a little useless because you spend more time trying to keep your hair from tangling than actually drying it, but for shorter hair it would be amazing and dry hair in record time.Overall I think it's a great dryer especially for being on the smaller side. But I'm super disappointed that it doesn't fold as that was my primary reason for ordering it. Still I gave four stars because it's pretty impressive and good quality. Hopefully the latching mechanism or whatever is not working in mine is just a one off and others won't have the same problem.

My previous hair dryer was a very inexpensive brand and had only two settings that should have been marked "Too High" and "Too Low". Consequently, I rarely blow dried my hair. So, of course I was excited to receive this Miracomb dryer. When I first opened the box, I was impressed by how high end it looked. It's a gorgeous deep blue with rose gold colored trim. The dryer had a plastic "skin" on it for added protection. I of course removed that before using it. A blue drawstring bag was included. Two attachments were also included.I like that this blow dryer is foldable. That makes storage so much easier. It's also ideal for travel. The attachments are magnetic. The magnets are very strong This has a digital display that shows what settings you're using. This dryer works so smoothly. It's lightweight and significantly quieter than all the other blow dryers I've owned. I couldn't believe how quickly it dried my hair. My hair is very fine, straight, a bit fragile and about five inches below the shoulder. Thicker hair may take a bit longer., but still should be pretty quick. I've always been concerned about heat damage, but this hair dryer seems pretty safe. Because the high air velocity dries the hair so quickly, heat exposure is limited. My hair turned out smooth and soft; not at all dry or brittle,The only thing I can't comment on is durability, since I just got it a couple of days ago. It appears to be well made and I trust it should last. If I do have problems with durability, I will update my review. Right now I love everything about this hair dryer,

This is a high quality, powerful and classy looking hair dryer. This sleek lightweight hairdryer did a fantastic job at reducing the frizziness in my hair. I was amazed at the difference after using this hairdryer and my old one. I even tried this on my dry hair and it took some of the frizz out then too. The attachments will get hot but it has side grips that stay cool and they are magnetic so it’s very easy to put them on and remove them without burning your fingers. The LED display was large and easy for me to read even without my glasses on. I was able to set the temperature at degrees instead of low medium and high which was different but I liked it. The power level has 3 levels to it and both are displayed on the LED screen. As far as the noise level it’s medium/high. It is not a quiet hair dryer. This is a small and compact hair dryer but it is extremely powerful… I dried my hair mostly on the lower setting because that was sufficient enough for me. It’s small size and folding ability makes it perfect for traveling…came with a soft velvety bag to keep the hair dryer and accessories in. The cord allowed me plenty of room to move freely around while drying my hair and the hair dryer was easy to hold onto and work with. It is a little steep but definitely a worthwhile investment. This would make an excellent gift and even came in a box ready to gift wrap.
