I was pleasantly surprised. Strong construction and I ordered black. I don’t want to draw attention. The stretchable strap does a great job when using steps with a handrail for support. Just the right amount of tension to keep it attached to your forearm without feeling it being too tight. The cane tip is unusual. It’s 3/4 inch. Standard size- but it has a red colored transparent cane tip. It looks really great and adds a little flair to the cane.yet I found it to be very soft. I know I can purchase replacement tips that are much more durable but I really liked this cane tip. Its footprint is wider than standard but to replace with black blah looking cane tips. I would guess these transparent tip is costly to replace. I own 2 tubes of shoe goo - black & clear- that I ordered from Walmart, incidentally they are the best price on the market. Regardless on my previous canes - I would add shoe goo to the bottom in layers - layers are important for drying. Shoe goo is durable much much better than any other product and I get years of service. It sets hard enough that it’s not affected by concretes abrasive action compromising durability. It has fantastic traction on all surfaces but wet laminated or wooden floors. But my other cane tips can slip as well. I added approximately 3/8th to the bottom. Rather than a few months- then needing a costly replacement. I can go several years of daily usage and when the shoe wears down a little. I add another layer and tho the bottom is dry. The additional layers weld together with no future separation between additional layers. The handle is interesting. The forefront has red plastic acrylic diamond shaped markers for reflection. I have worked hard enough with a pairs of walking sticks; that I just need one unit rather than a pair. With crushed discs in my lower back a cane does not give me any suppport and I hunch over. This forearm cane makes me stand straight and I can go a considerable distance with it. And it actually is very attractive without attracting attention per se . That I rarely use a cane. I recommend. Much better than the pictures can portray. It has several very nice touches that other fore arm canes do not have. Check it out. You will be pleased. Aforementioned is what makes this a great value. Oh I forgot to mention the handle is the only drawback. It is very hard and hurts. I do recommend looking for forearm cane a padding kit. There are dozens of choices on Amazon. I personally used bicycle handlebar tape. They come in a variety of colors and thicknesses. The key is to use a kit that has an adhesive backing. And go with thick. Not standard. It’s very gushy and is like adding a gel pad. It takes a few tries to get the spacing right, but once down correctly it looks and functions great. I purchased ALIEN PROS Bike Handlebar Tape.

1. I find it comfortable to use even as a 1st time user. 2. It is light enough to hold off the ground while practicsing walking as naturally as possible (with arms moving for balance). Not the case with a quad-stick. 3. The bright yellow band, where the elbow rests, is at the right height to be noticeable. Very useful to catch the eye of zombies walking towards you while using their phones; I managed to avoid 2 collisions on my 1st day with the crutch. 4. In preparation for the tip eventually wearing out, I emailed the seller about the diameter of the crutch tip and the reply - replacement should be 19 mm in diameter - came within a day.

I needed only one, most others sold in pairs only. I will need to replace the tip as it seems to slip on slick floors. However, this might just be the nature of my handicap. I LOVE the strap at the elbow! Very handy when standing still and using both hands. Other crutches just fall to the ground. Really has improved my mobility and confidence in walking! Why did you pick this product vs others?: Light weight but strong, foldable and comes with a carrier bag for travel.

Comfortable for all day use. I have SCI and balance issue. I didn’t want a walker, or arm pit style crutches, so I elected to get these. Have kept me very grounded and stable when my legs give out.

This product allows me much more control and weight bearing ability on my non-dominant hand, as opposed to a normal cane. The cane tip is nice and big, and it seems to be made of a very strong material. The handle isn’t the most comfortable, but I am pressing down with most of my weight, so thats to be expected with most canes. Great price! Made for sustainable, long-term use.
