I never even heard about black cohosh, I was explaining my hot flashes to my doctor and this is what he suggested for me to use. He said his people from the island swear by it . It’s amazing stuff.

I’ve been using this for about 10 days now. I am 61 years old. Black Cohosh seems to help me stay balanced and well supported. I add the recommended dosage to my Coconut Lime hydration beverage in a 26oz thermos and sip on it throughout the day. I will continue to use this product for overall well being.

I've been taking the black cohosh tincture for about three weeks.I don't completely understand the dosage. 685mg in one squeeze or total in the 3 squeezes a day? Why so much if a recommended dose is 40-120mg a day? However, if this is really 685mg I don't see how the lower dose would do anything.I measured with a 1ml dropper. So one squeeze is .7ml as is noted on directions.So far my mood seems a little better, I'm not feeling down as much (went off my ssri to try life without it!). I do sleep a little harder although it doesn't help me actually fall asleep.As for night sweats, no help, but daytime hot flashes are about 50% less.Flavor is fine without mixing it, almost like pepper and it doesn't have a lasting aftertaste. No stomach issues at all for me.Will continue to take this and will get another 4oz bottle to give it more time to see if my hot flashes are better.

While this tastes very sweet and works in tea or yogurt or anywhere I like honey added, I haven't noted any helpful effects or changes upon taking this.

This brand is clearly one of the few on the market that really cares and doesn't just push products out based on "hype." For such an intense herb, this tincture has a pretty mild and palatable taste. I would recommend doing your research and consulting your doctor before making this part of your daily regimen. Overall, I really enjoy this supplement.

I am new to black cohosh. I got this to help with waking at night and night sweats. So far I haven’t noticed it necessarily preventing night sweats, but I do sleep very soundly. If I do wake up, I fall back asleep easily which I cannot say for many other supplements, melatonin, etc. I will say, when I wake up my balance seems to be impacted by this in a way it’s not with other items. No issues with any spasms. I take one dropper within an hour of planning to go to sleep.

I am picky with the supplement brands I buy. I'll admit, Bio-Krauter is a new one to me. I'm glad I bought it though!This Black Cohosh tincture is high quality. Not bitter. I easily mixed it with cranberry juice and slurped it up with a straw. I only took a small dose at a time because Black Cohosh isn't an herb you take for the heck of it--there has to be a need for it (like spasms) or ironically you'll get spasms.I had a little bit of menstrual cramps and thought it would help...It did tamp it down a bit but even though I took only what I thought was a small dose (a dropperful) and had legit cramps, I still got a cascade of mild (painless) spasms for about a half hour, so that tells me this is a potent formula, and to dose wisely !I'm not sure how women who take Black Cohosh for menopause do it, because I feel like the spasms part would get in the way. That's been my experience with Black Cohosh anyway. This bottle is a keeper--it's just I have to take it as needed, in small doses.
