I brought these cameras as I have a security system with Verisure and brought the doorbell (Arlo) and I thought for added security I’ll buy these so I can access it all on one system.One of the cameras broke, it won’t charge, it won’t turn on, I reached out to Arlo a week ago and I haven’t received a response.Do not recommend.

I bought this Arlo security camera to complement my Ring doorbell, for our new house. It came in a pack of 2, and setup was straightforward thanks to the clear guide. The cameras are easy to access on my phone, in the app. Both myself and my partner are able to use it, and I placed one at the front to cover areas my Ring doesn’t, and one in the garden. Even with a long and wide garden, the coverage is excellent, and the night vision works very well.Overall, the system works reliably, but I’ve noticed occasional gaps in recording, possibly due to Wi-Fi issues, which could be a concern if an incident occurs while I’m away. Despite this, it’s a solid option for home security and provides peace of mind for everyday monitoring.

The camera is sturdy and very easy to set up through it’s app’ gives a very good field of view and has many features to use with the app’ has a clear image and can be set for sensitivity alert in use with an iPhone excellent value for a piece of mind.

nachdem mir in meinem Setup innerhalb kürzester Zeit zwei von drei Arlo Pro 3 Kameras „gestorben“ sind, war ich auf der Suche nach einer preisgünstigen Alternative, denn da ich die Kaeras nur innerhalb der Wohnung zur Überwachung im „Tier-Zimmer“ benötige, lag die Priorität mehr beim Preis und bei der Kompatibilität zu den bisherigen Kameras.Ein Wechsel-Akku, mehr Optionen bei dem Erfassungswinkel der Kameras oder so waren daher zweitrangig.Und mit diesem Doppelpack hab ich‘s dann versucht, da dieses Doppelpack gerade im Angebot war/ist und nur rund die Hälfte einer neuen Pro-Kamera kostete.Ich bin nicht enttäuscht worden, die sind ein echt guter Ersatz für meinen Zweck und ließen sich schnell einrichten.Allerdings kamen die Kameras mit einer alten Firmware daher, die es noch nicht erlaubte, die Kameras mit dem vorhandene Arlo Smart Hub zu koppeln und sie somit auch ins Apple Homekit einzubinden.Während der ersten Einrichtung haben die Kameras dann das Firmwareupdate durchgeführt, um sie dann aber mit dem Arlo Smart Hub zu verbinden, musste ich sie erst einmal wieder komplett löschen. Ein einfaches „mit einem anderen Netzwerk verbinden“ reicht da nicht, da dann der Smart Hub nicht angeboten wird.Schade, dasss die App einem das nicht mitteilt, dass man jetzt eine Firmware hat die mehr kann und wie man da vorgehen muss. Zum Glück habe ich nach etwas längerer Suche einen Hinweis in der Arlo Community zu dem Thema gefunden.Da ich hier aber die Kameras bewerte und nicht die Arlo App, belasse ich es bei den 5 Sternen, den die Kameras sind -gerade auch für den Preis- richtig gut.
