Very tight grip. It attaches well to ccw velcro loop system in items like the eberlestock sling fade bag. These items (from this brand) seem to be the best price while being adequately designed. I do recommend these if you are outfitting a bag.

I bought this specifically to hold magazines inside a really expensive and nice tactical backpack made by a certain Israeli company. This holds magazines really well and they're easy to pull out. The hook latches on and doesn't slip. I really like the size and design. Savior makes some quality stuff. This may be a little more expensive than other types of these hook magazine holders but I've purchased some of the cheaper ones and the quality is noticeably better on the Savior. From the materials to the stitching to the retention and even the hook latches better. This is a better overall product from those cheaper models from other overseas manufacturers.
