First Grade Basic Skills Curriculum

Bought this for my 5 year old son (last year) and he did very well (with the added stories I printed out from the Starfall website) that you had referenced on Plain and not so Plain's printable version. There is alot of work to do in this book that we continued/finished it this year as he has completed first grade. Thank you for keeping it interesting and for the brief lessons. He is reading very well for a 6 year old!! Thanks again!!

I was expecting to pay $25.00 for this book, but it was reduced to $15.00, so that alone made me happy. We are only a couple of weeks into the school year so I may have to give an update later on. So far, I love having everything all in one handy book, I only wish that the pages were removable so they would lie flat. My son complained about this when he started doing his lessons. Other than that I don't have any other complaints! We also are using other curriculum along with this book and learning to read and enjoying the variety.

I honestly can not name a dislike i purchased this for my 5 year old son. It is everything i could want and need. It is so affordable you honestly cant beat it.

This is perfect for our kids. Covers everything they need in one book. Straight to the point and easy for them to learn. Loved it so much, I bought second and third grade too!

So many activities for the price. I use this book with my Kindergartener and I love it. Very user friendly!

Thank you so much Amy for this ! I am new to homeschooling and after watching you on YouTube I looked at the book on your website before buying . Once I got the books for my two children I’m very impressed! Just want we needed to overhaul our learning . Tho my children are not at grade one I wanted to take everything back to basics to make sure we are not missing anything ! My children in this two weeks are flying through the book and my daughter who struggles has found this so helpful and it’s building confidence. Anything she hasn’t been taught at school or maybe forgot this book gave us the opportunity to fix that . My daughter especially has started to read easier , has learnt the voles and is doing so much better on sounding out short words ! Thank you so much will be buy the review for this grade and definitely getting grade 2 honestly thank you ! This is a great way to make sure your child with your help is covering every basic possible . Note if you in the uk you will have to change some things such as spelling and any money that may come up but it’s worth it and with abit or organisation this is by far the best I have seen for the price. ! What helped me choose this was that any has ten children so I thought if any can do this then do can I ! Thank you !

Bought for my 5yo. We live in France and she goes to the French school but I needed an english curriculum for home. This is perfect!Thanks Amy for all the work you put into this book.
