Bootstrap Farmer6 Cell Extra Strength Seed Starter Trays, 120 Pack (720 Cells), Garden Inserts

This is the second purchase I’ve made of Bootstrap Farmer products this Spring. They are sturdy, and will be around for a long time. I found the best thing is, you don’t have to be gentle with them when washing or stacking them. DEFINITELY WORTH IT! FYI....one thing i did find that I needed to do when filling with soil, was to make sure that I put my finger over the larger hole on the bottom, and pack the soil in well to start with, otherwise leaving it lose on bottom, the dirt washed out the bottom before the roots grew enough to hold the soil in.

This is an investment but one I consider to be well worth it. If you garden and are serious about it then this seed starting kit is just what you need to be able to seed lots of seeds year after year without taking up tons of room. I can fit many many plants on just a few serving trays. The set feels as if it'll last for many seasons and it's leaps and bounds more durable then even those packs of individual 2x2 inch cups that are all over amazon smelling like off gased rubber.

I wanted sturdy cell inserts for growing out seeds in standard 10x20 trays. These are well designed and well made by BootStrap. Couldn't be happier with the quality. BootStrap will be my go-to brand when looking for quality cell inserts.

Pros - These trays are super thick plastic and will be able to be reused forever as far as I can tell. Given how sturdy they are, I don't think I'll ever use all that I bought.Cons - It can be a bit more difficult to get the seedlings out without disturbing the roots. I find flipping it upside down and tapping gently is usually enough to get the job done decently.I've started about 50 or so seedlings with these and haven't had any issues, but again... it isn't as easy to get the seedling plugs out as you get with flimsier plastics.

I like how sturdy they are you are able to reuse them for many years. Also the sun doesn’t melt it down or distort it .

My fault for not getting out a ruler to help me envision how small these trays are. I am a home gardner who discovered long ago that in the winter it is easier and faster to grow multiple seeds in larger pots, then them out in the pots, and then at the appropriate time condition them and transplant them out. Yes, this wastes seeds, but it sure saves time. The quality of the trays is outstanding, and i would love them if they were at least deeper. I'll keep them to use for growing succession seeds, which can be transplanted out at a much smaller size.

really good quality hard stuff, will last upwards of 10 years aslong as i don't drop em and step on em with some weight.Came with 2-3 broken/chipped ones. guess its expected in delivery.other flaw was there weren't many other options other than 120 +, but really great value still and will eventually be forced into using all of them so they dont just sit out hehehehe, maybe some dwarf matoes in a hydro setup in the trays.didn't find it that difficult to repot by pinching the bottoms, these are sturdy and hard but not impossible to squeeze.update 2022: They really do be hard to pop out sometimes, would be better with a better hole in the bottom to poke em out.

Has open strips/ holes down corners for roots to grow... very sturdy and strong
