Interesting addition to the home bar
I ordered this to add to my home bar, and it's a fun and interesting addition. The drip tray is a light plastic, as opposed to more expensive models that have a silicone tray, but not a deal breaker for me - a drip tray is a drip tray. The stamp itself is light-weight aluminum, so easy to heat, but easy to cool. I read a tip on another review, on another brand, to heat up a microwaveable ice/hot pack, and place it under the stamp and it heats the metal quickly and lets you stamp the ice quickly. It works.I like to make up a few cubes ahead of time, and stick them back in the freezer, so when I want to use them they're ready to go.These are so charming and elegant, or just plain fun, depending on the design you choose. Would recommend.**I ordered this product as part of Amazon's Vine program, in exchange for an honest review. Cool idea, takes some patience
I most definitely did not understand how this worked when I got it and it took some finagling to figure it out. You have to make the ice cubes (and you really need to be able to make clear ice cubes) and then you stamp them on this by leaving them on the stamp and making an imprint. It's an interesting idea, but definitely takes a while. Doing them ahead of time would be much better than trying to make them as you make drinks. The stamp is metal, so at least you can heat it to speed up the process, but it does take a while to actually get a good stamp on the ice

Take your time, and hot water is your friend!
First off, even though this comes with a drip tray, it's much easier to just put the whole thing in the sink. Then, before you get started, get the hot water running, and get the whole piece of brass hot. Then you can start working with your ice cubes. It is fairly thin, so it doesn't have the thermal mass to subtract that much heat from the ice on it's own, so that's why heating it up before you start marking your ice will make your life much easier. I have found that hitting it with hot water after every cube gives me the best results, and the patterns tend to work better (At least look cooler) than the pictures do. Sure, it takes a little extra time to do all this to your ice, and I suggest doing it before a party, rather than trying to do it for each cocktail. My friends were all impressed with how cool the ice looked, and they wanted to see how it was done. Just remember, a little prep time goes a long way in presentation.

Decent performance, expected a better build on the tray
I liked the product and the concept it tries to go with. The stamp itself works fine, albeit needs some time to work compared to full metal trays, and running the product through hot water helps it out. However, I was disappointed with the quality of the plastic tray. The supports do not feel as strong as I thought it would be, and I think the product can greatly benefit from a thicker plastic frame.

defiantly a cool piece to have
This works fantastic! The reviews comparing this aluminum version to brass are accurate, but more context is needed. Yes, brass does have better heat retention than aluminum. But the opposite is also true. Once brass cools down it also takes longer to heat back up. Aluminum is quicker to cool, but it also re-heats quicker. It comes down to the re-heating and cooling cycle. More recurring but faster re-heating with aluminum or less frequent but slower re-heating with brass. Since the aluminum versions cost significantly less, my opinion is, that you can go wrong, and highly recommend this product.I also have a trick, even using this aluminum version. I use a microwaveable heating gel pack. Put the gel pack in the microwave for 1.5 to 2 minutes, put the ice pattern on the gel pack then press away.

For baby Jesus: avoid this product at all costs.
I opened the box and as soon as I realized this product probably costs $0.02 to manufacture in China with cheap plastic, I put it back in the box and immediately got my refund.Note to seller: turn this idea into a rubber bar mat and I’ll buy it again.

Didn't like it.
I made a video but decided to just share my opinion. It doesn't work very well. Sure, the ice gets imprinted but is so weak that you can't see it. I ran the metal part under hot water and that helped but it quickly cooled off.No, I cannot recommend this product. Even the plastic drip tray seemed cheap.

Great Stamp Tray
I bought this as an adult gift for myself. This is a beautiful tray used to create decorative or branded ice cubes. This tray has a couple designs and logos imprinted on them. It allows me to create custom-shaped ice cubes for special occasions or events. They can add a fun and unique touch to drinks. I like that I will be able to share this with friends and family over a drink. Looking forward to sharing. This would be a perfect hostess gift.
