I panicked when I thought this cane was no longer being sold
I love this cane. I bought my first one years ago, and I have used it every day since then. I take it to dinner, I take it on the plane, I take it to the waterpark, I stash it under my wheelchair — this is MY cane.My cane was broken on a flight recently, which was shocking — this one folds down so compactly that I'm still confused about what trauma it must have undergone in the overhead compartment! I immediately ran to buy another from a drugstore (that appears to no longer collab with Michael Graves Design), and they were out. Rejecting the store-brand knock-offs, I went to another store. And another. I was so frantic when I saw that they were sold out here too that I emailed the MG help address (and got lovely reassurance that it was not gone forever!)This cane is well balanced, lightweight, and very easily collapsible. It looks sleek, and comes in a nice color. The 4-pronged tip is flexible, so it walks much more smoothly than the Hurry-cane. This does mean that it doesn't stand on its own as well after a year+ use, but I always just step on a prong and it is fully stable. The grip is the most comfortable that I've seen on any cane. That said, it maybe isn't made for such aggressive use as I put it through, and I layer on some tennis overgrip tape to put extra padding on it.Juuuuust in case, I have purchased a second one as "back-up." I'm not risking any supply chain issues in the future!

Study, quiet, convenient and stylish!
This cane is absolutely amazing. I was skeptical making the purchase because of reading some reviews that it was flimsy and noisy. I couldn’t be more impressed. The cane opens so swiftly, it also adjusts heights incredibly easily. I find it to be very sturdy and quiet. It’s also stylish and it stands up right by itself which is so convenient. I’m mid 30s and have a chronic illness that affects my mobility and this cane is making it so much easier to get around. My cane before this is a much bigger quad (4 leg one). I wanted something a little sleeker and easier to move around with in public but still supportive. This one is perfect. I ordered this and another from Amazon to compare. I’m returning the other one and keeping this one. This is definitely one of the best purchases that I’ve made. A slight point is that the handle could be a little more comfortable (just in comparison to the other one) but still an excellent purchase.

Slightly heavier, but all in all a very nice cane
It is a very nice looking cane, but it is a little heavier than a regular cane. It appears stable and I feel safe using it, but I guess due to its construction, you can hear a little noise where a connection is made between two pieces upon walking. I like that it can collapse and the magnets appear strong, but after some use it doesn’t stay collapsed as well and will tend to straighten out if you lightly touch it. I wanted to use it several months before I wrote a review as a cane is so important to those of us that are handicapped. All in all, I’m happy I bought it and I think it’s a good design

Worth it
I was hesitant about the price but this cane is worth every penny. I have POTS and dont need a cane all the time, but I like to have one with me if i have to unexpectedly walk a ways or stand for a while. i also hate going to meetings and having to find a spot to put a cane, regular ones always end up being in my way and are awkward. The magnets on this are amazing, you just get it started folding up and it stays perfectly. My students say i look like a superhero when i pull it out of my bag and it unfolds with a flick. It wont fit in a smaller purse but I can put it in my medium sized purse or a backpack with no issue. The color is so pretty and elegant which helps me feel less like I'm using medical supplies. It's also surprisingly lightweight. 100% worth the money if youre looking for a cane to have with you on the go!

Wow, finally a cane that doesn’t scream: “You got this at the hospital!”
Let’s face it, Assistive technology design is usually pretty terrible. But finally a company, with a design-first ethos, jumps into the fray. I injured my knee during a capoeira session and found myself unable to walk for a few weeks without support. After the injury I spent the weekend rolling myself from room to room on a skateboard. Feed up with my lack of mobility I decided to look for something that could help me when I was out of the house so my knee could recover more quickly and I can get back to capoeira.I searched for days. Everything was either horrid and functional or beautifully crafted but didn’t feel like it could really support me.Enter the foldable cane done by the team at Michael Graves Architect. Adjustable from 5’ to 6’3” the cane covers a huge gamut of the population. It supports up to 300 lbs, it’s super lightweight and the color matches my headphones. Add in the self-standing foot replacement and you have a damn ICON. I’ve been using it for a month now. I walk a bit slower, but I look great doing it.Super kudos for designing a walking cane that is both highly functional and highly beautiful. They also did a sick collaboration with Pottery Barn for fully accessible furniture that doesn’t read medical. A real need solved with a great product, thoughtfully designed at a wonderful price.

Wiggly joints do not engender confidence at first.
I bought this because I needed an easily collapsible, sturdy cane for an air flight that was coming up.Delivery was on time and the cane does look good with a comfortable handle.I am back from my trip and I am greatly disappointed in this product. Being tall, I use the cane at nearly full extension and when used the cane's joints flex (wiggle) giving the impression that it is about to either bend or break. Once the flex reaches maximum (about 12mm, 1/2 inch of flex) the cane seems to be okay. This flex is noisy, so I sound like an un-oiled android clattering down the street.During my week long trip the cane never failed, it folded up to conveniently fit in the pocket In the seat in front of me, and the handle was comfortable even after-hours of use walking and standing lines.I want immediate confidence in my stability aid to support me if needed; this wiggly cane does not provide that initial confidence.

Great functional cane
Great, functional cane. Easily folds and unfolds as needed. Easy to adjust for proper height.
