Wesley Rolling Duffel Bag, Seaform, Large 30-Inch

I was looking for a weekend bag that we could use for trips. THe nice thing about this bag is that it has handles and of course, wheels. The inside of the bag has a compartment that one could perhaps put shoes or something in it but more importantly, it was very spacious (30L) on the inside. There are two additional pockets available on the outside of the bag as well. My wife pointed out just now durable the bag feels. I ended up ordering two bags and now, we have a his and hers bag. What's the saying: Happy wife, happy life! I'll go with that!PROS Durable, nice quality, pull out handle, wheelsCONS: None noted at the time of this review

I'd actually give it 4.5 stars. It's very large and easy to pack. I like the outside pockets. A reasonable weight for a bag with wheels and the frame needed for them. It rolls well. I'm a short, narrow shouldered person and I was actually able to use the short straps as a backpack in a desperate moment of too much luggage and too few hands.It traveled, checked, internationally with me so it was quite a test. I did use suitcase straps around it after seeing the zipper reviews and had no issues. The bottom stand half broke off and we had to pull it off the rest of the way, which is why it loses half a star, but I think I'll be able to fix it with screws later and it really didn't make much difference in its use. It also gets credit because the airport handling broke 2 wheels and the entire bottom corner off my other, more expensive, suitcase, so I think it's amazing this one had so little damage!

This duffel made it thru 7 flights with very little damage. The back side has some small rubs and tears. All of the zippers held strong. Very durable.

Purchased Jan 26 for air travel - took it Mexico.For the money ($53) it's good. TBF, you can't expect Travelpro or Ogio quality for $50ish. I only have 3 minor complaints:1. I'd like more pockets inside than out. I don't really want to store all my tiny items on the outside of a piece of luggage. Send that design effort on pockets on the inside. I've had zippers outside pockets fail on similar designs. Plus it makes pilferage easy for those inclined to such behavior. The inside deserves more pockets.2. I'd like a wider track for the wheels. It is pretty tippy. Maneuvering through airport crowds is tougher when your fighting with your bag. I ended up just carrying it a lot.3. It's kind of smelly initially. It's got that Chinese factory smell. I used it 2 days after I received it. So everything smelled funny when I pulled it out. So, set it somewhere it can air out for a few days before you start packing.I guess if you're using it to toss in the trunk for road trips or other travel without baggage check, it'll work fine.To be fair, it's a lot of bag for the money. At it's price point the fabric & the stitching seem pretty good. Zippers are smooth and seem durable. Capacity is decent - plenty of room to pack for a for a week in Mexico.

I purchased this Wrangler rolling duffle bag for my teen's 4 day overnight camping trip. I spent hours combing through Amazon, deciding between rolling duffle, rolling suitcase, and then the differences between types of duffle bags. Other options included top- loading duffle bags and packable ones. I'm glad I went with this one.It was much roomier than I thought it would be. There are 2 outer side zipped pockets, which I used for extra shoes;2 front zip compartments, each with a zip pocket on the front; and the inside is really big and spacious. All the extra zip compartments were a bonus for keeping her supplies organized.There are 2 handles on the front which can be attached together or left separate, and a handle at the top of the bag. All handles are very sturdy and thick. There's also an extendable handle, which can be zipped away when not in use, if you wish to just carry the bag. I found the handles all made for a very easy task of lifting the bag in and out of the trunk no matter how heavy.The wheels are small but strong and reliable. It rolled fairly easy outside, except for in the wood chips. To be fair, the wood chips were really thick so I didn't expect it to roll through without issues. In all I had no problem pulling/rolling it. I didn't find it too heavy at all.The back and bottom of the bag are reinforced with some sort of hard plastic material inside, and 2 runners along the outside, for when lying down. When standing, there are 2 "feet" on the bottom which keep it upright, as long as the weight inside is distributed correctly.This does make it impossible to simply fold it up and stow away, but I'd prefer sturdy over foldable.The material of the bag is really strong and durable. Doesn't scratch easy.If I had any complaints, and wouldn't say it takes any stars off, there's a strong smell of like a melting plastic maybe. Also I could do without the giant "Wrangler" logo across the 2 outer pockets. However, if you're looking for a good, durable, rolling duffle bag for travel, go with this one. Price is fair, definitely worth it.

I bought this Wrangler Wesley Rolling Duffel Bag for my son's teen tour, and this was the very first time we used it. I expected it to be durable enough to handle normal travel, but it failed miserably.By the end of the trip, the bag had ripped badly along the seam next to the zipper (see photo). This wasn't after years of use—it happened after a single trip. A rolling duffel should be able to withstand the typical handling that comes with travel, especially when it's marketed as luggage.What made it even worse is that once we discovered the tear, we were nervous the entire time that some of my son's belongings may have fallen out while traveling. No parent wants to worry about their child's luggage falling apart or losing personal items because the bag couldn't hold up. Another one of his friends had the same bag and it happened to him as well.The storage and design were decent, but the poor construction completely outweighs any positives. I expected much better quality from the Wrangler name. I would not recommend this bag if you need luggage that can survive even one normal trip.
