A good purchase
When I got the fabric, I tested it out by wrapping my cell phone in it then trying to call my cell with the home phone. It blocked the signal perfectly! I also tested it against a four layer wrap of aluminum foil and both methods worked well to block the signal and keep my devices safe as promised. It is now keeping my devices safe. A good product, especially if you make a cell phone or laptop case out of it. It is easily carried and easier to remove your devices when you need them.

Nice product
Nice product. Happy with the product and the tape. It is a nice large piece so you can use it whole for large items or cut for smaller ones. I did have to order extra tape as if you are going to use this this correcty - you should not have any open seals on whatever your wrap. Just order an extra roll of tape - good to have on hand anyway as it doesn't reseal / stick well if you have to open and rewrap your item. But the fabric itself is nice and sturdy.

Great Product
I am on the 3rd floor of my apartment and my body appears to be in tune with the cell phone frequency & what ever else is floating out there. I put the Faraday over my bedroom sliding glass door. I am sleeping so much better. I am not waking up as much though out the night in pain. So this product is blocking something. I could not recommend it enough. You can cut it also for phone and such. My Daughter in law is expecting a baby-you can also cut a square to put over your baby bump to protect your unborn child from rays put off from laptops!!! I am a believer after a week of use in my bedroom. I bought 2 more already. What a valuable item with versatility for use with electronics!!Good Luck!!

Good product, ridiculously silly ad
Aside from the completely laughable advertising copy, this material has a few good uses. 1) Small bits of it can be used to repair worn-out conductive rubber pads in remote controls. 2) It is conductive on both sides and measures very low resistance with an ohmmeter. 3) I bought this for a ham-radio "magic carpet" portable antenna grounding scheme. I added some tarp rivets in the corners for hold-downs. This package version also comes with some rather useful sticky Velcro pads.Want a good laugh? Read the advertisement.1- Wrap your monitor up with it to reduce EMI....... so you can't see the screen????2- Wrap your cell phone to reduce radiated RF into your head....... so the phone's antenna stops working and drops the call???3- Wrap up your WiFi router....... to reduce it's range?????4- Wrap up your laptop for EMP protection...... who's Internet provider is going to work after the big bang????5- Wrap up your desktop computer....... so it overheats and fries?????6- Wrap up your Echo...... yep it may disconnect, but it won't mute its microphone, if you care.7- OK you can make a decorative curtain out of it. Its nice and shiny. But there's cheaper alternatives. The only one that makes any sense is a wallet wrapper. This might actually prevent card probing.

Does not work.
I left the material folded in original packaging, then I put my phone inside playing a video from wifi and network towers. I sealed off all sides, the video never stopped playing. Because it was folded over several times, it had extra protection, but failed. Please find a better quality product.

Faraday cloth.
Worked perfectly to protect my electrical from phone signal. Hope it serves it's purpose if we have EMP.

It works, I can feel an immediate difference
The material is easy to work with, easy to sew. I can wrap my phone in 3 layers and prevent it from receiving calls (on Wi-Fi or 5G). I'm happy I could use regular quilt backing cloth and the faraday cloth fits just inside the standard width cloth. I would definitely buy again.

Faraday fabric
I use this fabric in my homemade crafts. I was thrilled to find how well it worked!

This seems like the heavy duty version. The fabric weave is very tight - no leaks.
Very useful to make a variety of EMF or EMP shields. Easy to work with. Sews well with an ordinary sewing machine but be careful not to create leaks with the needle holes. You can cover seams with the included roll of seam tape.

Works
I made a faraday cage with steel garbage cans and used the fabric as a liner. The steel bin even though perfectly sealed still let signal through until I used the cloth. Works great. Good kit with tape but wish velcro was in strips and not dots.
