I bought these because a video I watched on YT. They're cool, some are a little bent, but the cones kept them blowing straight. I cut those shorter and added xacto blades. Highly recommend!

Velocity – 119 fps (with 5’ blowgun)Weight – 78 grainsThis is a giant, fun, colorful novelty dart that’s great for popping balloons and backyard plinking. It’s actually THE largest available blowgun dart, but that’s where the fun ends. While not the heaviest at 78 grains it still weighs more than the hefty Cold Steel Razor Tip Broadhead, with an even lower velocity than that dart at 119 fps. Women and youth shooters will have a hard time blowing this one. This is also (unfortunately) a bamboo dart, and like ALL bamboo darts many of the shafts are not straight, reducing accuracy and consistency. The giant 1/4” diameter shaft also leaves a large hole in target backings, and will quickly wear out a cardboard target. If you are looking for an accurate wooden dart, the Black Rhino Wood Dart remains my top recommendation, with straight-as-an-arrow white pine shafts, an easy-to-blow weight of only 24 grains (a third the weight of this FSFF Javelin), and a zippy velocity of 155 fps. The bottom line is that the Javelin can still be a super fun dart to add to your blowgunning collection, but just be aware of its limitations.

They shot really well with the Cold Steel 1 piece 625 blowgun. Better then the thinner ones that came with the blowgun.
