With all the cooking we do every day these knives have held up great! We do sharpen them from time to time! And there like brand new!!

very sharp knives update
Knives with a 15 degree angle for sharpening. I haven't had them long enough to know how well they will maintain sharpness. stainless cutting edge with sanmi construction. I am less fond of the handle design and construction. I would prefer a full tang with a synthetic handle material. The endcap with the T is cheesey. I am so disappointed that these were listed as Japanese Steel, but fail to mention anywhere in the listing that they are manufactured in China. I can't believe Amazon allows such deceptive descriptions.

Incredibly sharp knives
I already own an expensive set of Japanese Damascus knives. This set of knives is actually sharper than my expensive set. How long that sharpness lasts, only time can tell. The Damascus pattern isn’t as prominent as it is in the pictures but it’s still visible. They also are very comparable in weight to my expensive set. I would definitely recommend these knives for anyone looking for a ridiculously sharp set!
