Doesn't pop off the taps!
We bought this in a bind when our electric shower gave up mere weeks before we were due to have a whole new bathroom installed. It hasn't disappointed. The modern addition of velcro straps to hold the fittings on the taps is genius, and works really well.We have it attached to sink taps, and it's very very snug. So snug we haven't risked removing it between uses as we don't want to also break the sink taps! It's unlikely they'll fit on bath taps, which tend to be larger. Our water pressure is pretty extreme, and they have remained secure the entire time.

Very handy practical hand held shower fitting at a good price....
This is a very good, usable product, just be aware that the swivel connection between the hose and the shower head can be a bit fragile - this is the third one of these I've had to buy after the other two broke.

A useful stopgap
A few weeks before we're due to get our bathroom fitted the electric shower developed a fault. Rather than buy a new one which we'd only use for a short time we bought this as a stopgap.Unlike the one we had in the house when I was a child this one feels more secure. Back then, if you turned the taps on full the rubber cups would fly off the taps, spraying water everywhere. This time the cups have velcro straps which wrap around the back of the taps, keeping them in place. It's a bit of a struggle to fit as the openings in the cups are small, but with a bit of effort they squeezed onto my bath taps, and it's fair to say that you wouldn't want them to be loose otherwise they'd come off too easily. Do pay attention to the product description though which tells you which shapes of taps it will and won't work with. How much pressure you get out of it depends on your plumbing, but for us it's fine. The head is about the same size as the one for our electric shower too, so it fits into the holder on the wall (this kit comes with a holder you can fix to the wall if needed). On the days that our electric shower decides to work we still use it, but this is there for those days when it doesn't. We don't plan on using it again once the bathroom has been updated, but until then it's a useful stopgap.

Better than expected
Our shower broke and unfortunately because it uses proprietary parts it is irreparable. I bought this as a temporary replacement, not expecting it to be a great experience based on using similar things in the past. However I was wrong. It fits well onto the taps, has a decent length of hose so we can mount it on the existing shower rail, and produces a good strong stream of water. All that is helped by the fact that our taps are the perfect shape and we have a combi boiler. If you have good water pressure and your taps have a round shape, then this works very well. Whilst not as tidy as the previous shower, it is just as good - perhaps even better!

Adaptors too small, expensive rubber hose to sit in the junk pile
Purchased as a temporary replacement as my shower is broken and it'll be a few days before a plumber gets to me. Product was marked as a newer release of another, which had far more numerous reviews - I now realise several of the more recent ones mentioned that the product seemed to have shrunk in size.As is, I struggle to see how this specific product can work for most UK bath taps. It simply wont fit, even if you soften it with heat and use some lubricants. The aperture size in the rubber seals is 15 mm (3/5ths of an inch) diameter, with a maximum inner diameter of 25 mm (1 inch) on the adaptor cups. In reality, you're unlikely to be able to fit taps beyond 22 mm (5/6ths of an inch) external diameter as the seal itself needs some free space to flex in. Most UK taps these days have an external diameter of 25 mm (1 inch) to 28 mm or just above - either due to the size of the tap body itself, or in the form of a bulb on the end for hose fittings and the like (ironic, really).Even if you cut off the rubber seal entirely, it probably wouldn't fit properly (and will backwash everywhere to boot). The price for this product is a bit silly - it's just a bit of hose and an extruded plastic shower head but I guess nothing that might be needed quickly will ever be less than 20 quid ever again.

Shower fitting
Excellent value. Easy to fit on the taps. Doesn’t leak and takes a reasonable amount of water pressure. Great solution when installing a shower isn’t possible.

Brilliant
These are great and work just as I had hoped. No leaks. I have a health condition that is eased by a hot powerful shower and this isSo much better than the electric shower drizzle! Thanks
