Hard to use
I used this on a few different things in the car was difficult to get good reading as it picks up other stuff that makes it hard to use. I also used it on some powerwheels to verify wiring and it worked much better. It works but more difficult than expected.

Simple to use
This comes in handy for finding wires in a trailer. Our harness goes into a channel so you lose sight of the wires. Using this device, you can locate the correct wire on the other end of the trailer. So you can find a broken lead and even wires that happened to change color in the hidden area. Without this device I would have relied on the color of the wire not knowing it was spliced in a hidden area and changed color before it exited.I recommend this to help find problematic wiring issues. It greatly speeds up the process.

Other Tools Are More Effective
I really wanted to like this device but I found the tech dated and difficult to decipher. I have other meters and testers that easily identify break in a line. This device picks up a lot of noise! If I can dial it in better I will come back and update my review.
