What a nifty little gadget. These work exactly how you expect they would. The telescope function works smoothly and extends a couple of feet. The magnet is super powerful too. We had several men in the family over when we opened these and they were all admiring how useful these are. The material feels sturdy too.

These babies are heavy duty. After opening the package, I extended one and lowered the magnetic head into my tool chest. I pulled out an entire rail of 12 sockets, and had to forcefully yank them off--shaking was not enough to break them free. If it does this with a dozen sockets and a rail, I know it'll grab any single socket or bit I've dropped under the hood.I really don't need 3, because I'm the only person using my workshop, so I'm gonna keep 1 extra and give the third one to my dad.

It may be a small magnet, but it is strong!

I've had several magnetic pick up tools in the past, all of which tend to get lost in the sauce every now & again, & these are some of the better ones I've used, the widest part of them is the magnetic head, they have a clip on for a belt or pocket which can be removed easily if you don't like it, but it's sturdy enough that it won't come off unless you want it to.The magnetic force of the tool is more than enough for picking up a coin, screw or bolt that's in a hard to reach position, as long as they're magnetic.Pretty good deal for a 3 pack as well, I could see people spending $10+ on just one of these in a hardware store. The 3 pack is great though because with anything tool related, one is none & two is one, always have a backup in case you lose one or it breaks on you, plus you get a 3rd that you can give to friend of family if you don't want 2 backups.Overall, a solid little telescopic magnet stick.

I got a set of 3 telescopic tools with the magnetic end. They're pretty useful in my garage for picking up bits that have fallen to the ground or under my shelves. Saves me from bending down as much, easier on the knees, and this just picks up everything so I don't have to waste time searching for it.They all have a little clip on the side, keeps them secure on your belt.
