Works well to keep sewing machine clean
Recommended by quilt shop to clean lint out of sewing machine. Does a good job and tip remains attached.

Very well made and the sponge tip is superior to other brands
I did not buy this just for makeup. I bought it also to help scrape the rest of the residual left in my Wite Out bottles where the sponge tip applicator did not last. To my surprise this new sponge tip was fantastic. It is so sturdy/strong that it does not fall apart when sticking it into bottles with a narrow opening. I can see this being a great use to get the remnant out of smaller bottles of lotions, creams, Wite Out, etc etc. The tip does not shred. Great buy!

Excellent!
I have to solder at work and these work great for cleaning the soldering points. They do not get stuck on anything, or fall apart. I love them and have no idea how I did without them.

Maybe not for use with isopropyl alcohol.
I'm (trying) using these to clean solder flux off small part solder joins in a guitar amplifier. It seems the 99% alcohol disolves the adhesive that holds the foam tip together. Under these conditions they fall apart quickly. The tip is a folded over strip of foam material and if you look closely you can see the side seams. They don't "scrub" particularily well either. I imagine they are great for removing light dust specks
