Fun book
My son is going to love this book. He is constantly asking how things work, and now he can read about it and do hands on experiments. The suggested age is 8-14, my son is 6 but I think it depends on the child. The explanations are clear and the some of the building plans seem pretty easy, but finding some of the pieces to build some of the things may pose a challenge. I can't wait to give it to him.

Great book for kids and adults
I bought this book for a curious youngster in hopes that it might make things a little easier to understand and to help grown ups answer some of those questions that are hard to explain to a young person. The illustrations are helpful.

Fabulous book for the young inquiring mind
Bought this book for my nephew, who always wants to know the 'how' and 'why.' Excellent information and it is presented in a clear format. Strongly recommended for parents, grandparents and as a gift to any child with an active, inquiring mind.

Great for answering grandkids questions
I got this so I'd be better prepared to answer (or let them read the answer to so many questions they came up with with respect to how things worked in home.
