Good, simple slow feeder
This cat feeder is made of quality and encourages your cat to ‘hunt and seek’ their food. With three cats, this bowl is currently a supplemental feeder for my house, but all of my cats have eaten from it.One of my cat has a problem quickly gorging food and then throwing it up, and I purchased this bowl in hopes of helping that. I can say I have seen an improvement over a traditional style bowl. I plan to order more of these so all cats will be able to eat from a slow feeder. This slow feeder is a good value and will last you nearly forever.Food bits are Purina Cat Food Indoor ( a green bag) and the kibbles work well in this feeder

Nice
My cat is on a vet recommended diet so now she inhales every last piece of food. And because of that she occasionally throws up. This has helped slow her down alot. I don't see this being easily tipped over but if my cat gets desperate enough she probably will. This has many little spots for the kibble to rest in. Does my cat like it? Nope. Its easy to clean and I'm pretty sure the tag said it is top rack dishwasher safe

Sturdy and nice, but not suited for larger foods
The bowl looks great! It doesn't take up a lot of space, and I like the color. The material that it is made of seems sturdy, so if you have a cat that likes to push innocent dishes off of counters after you've washed them, it doesn't seem like this is at risk of breaking like more fragile bowls. I don't think that the bowl is suited for larger foods, though. The dry food that my cat eats is about the same height as the dividers in the bowl, and she has a small face, so it is really just like she's eating from a plate with some annoying dividers on it. It doesn't really slow her down much. This would probably work best for wet/soft foods, but I would be concerned that it might be tough to clean the small sections around the outer edge of the bowl.

Kitty stamp of approval
I have three fur babies. My boy Jeffers was a stray we found under a dumpster. We took him to the vet and nursed him back to health. That was four years ago.Something about being a stray must have made him think he needs to inhale his food. Ever since we have had him he eats so fast that his belly gets upset and he throws it up immediately after consuming. Poor little guy..We have tried numerous slow feeders. Some work great and some totally suck hairballs. This particular slow feeder is amazing! The holes are deep enough and small enough to keep him from eating too fast. The plastic is super easy to clean. Both Jeffers & I are glad we have this.

Quick Puzzle for Fat Cats
My cats are fat, and my vet suggested cutting back on the dry food. However, my very smart cats know how to unscrew the top of their automatic feeder, and often feed themselves. I figured that if they like a challenge, having an extra one might at least slow them down where food is concerned. I put this little feeding tray in the location of their bowl, so that the automatic feeder dumps kibbles out into the cells of the tray. It takes the cats a little longer to eat, either by nibbling in smaller bites, or by having to pop the kibbles out onto the floor and then eating them. It's not a neat process, but I feel like it's a good outlet for their boredom and helps keep them from eating too much or too fast.

My cat wasn't a fan
This thing is made very well! It is sturdy, and made from thicker plastic. However,my cat was NOT amused. He ate a little bit of it that was on top of the holes. But when it came to getting the rest out,he just left it and I considered it wasted. Cleaning it was slightly tedious,as the holes are slightly small. So I would not recommend for wet food.

Slower eating, then easy cleaning
This is a Nina Ottosson design, as noted on the bowl. She has a great track record of designing food puzzles for cats and dogs (my cats love the ladybug puzzle she designed). The Catstages slow feeder bowl is a hard plastic with a rubber ring on the bottom to keep it from sliding everywhere on hard floors as your pet goes after the food. My cats don’t mind eating their treats from the bowl, and I like that the bowl keeps them from scarfing down their food too fast. The bowl also cleans up easily and comes out of the dishwasher good as new. Try it for your fast eaters, or just to shake up the eating routine!

Cat is too smart
My fat cat is too smart for this slow feeder. He’s figured out that he can push it to end of counter and then it becomes a mess of kibble on the floor, which he then eats. He’s a Maine coon, so I expect things like this. However! If I put his nightly dental treats in it, he actually digs them out one by one with his paw and works for his treats.I really like the material of this, and the “sticky” legs are great, but no match for my fat boy. I may try this out with my toy breed dog, it’s about the size of her other slow feed puzzles.
