Samsung Tab A9+

Bought to replace an older Lenovo tablet. Very impressed with the tablet, beautiful vivid display. Some of the games I play now speed through without lag something I'd suffered with my old one. Very easy to set-up and import via Google Play apps from old unit. Lovely sound quality. Slimline design. Solid construction, although I've since added a robust case which has rubberised surround to prevent damage. Registered with Samsung they send emails of updates and tips to use/set-up your tablet. Opting out of them is easy if you want too. Battery seems to have a decent running time. Buttons for power up and volume respond instantly. Has the option for additional Micro-SD card to expand the memory capacity, which requires a PIN key to access (included with tablet) but any small PIN like those other manufacturers use will do too.

Great tablet, excellent build quality, long battery life

I recently purchased a Samsung tablet, sold and invoiced by Amazon but shipped by Blue-Fish Ltd. To my utter frustration, the tablet is completely unusable in the UK. After setting up the language, the next screen asked for a country or region – and guess what? No UK option. Not even Europe. Just a big, fat nothing. I discovered that another customer faced the exact same issue and was advised by Samsung to return the tablet immediately. Clearly, Amazon UK is either grossly incompetent or deliberately selling unsuitable products. Amazon, you need to take responsibility. This product was sold and invoiced by you, and it’s your duty to ensure that your customers are not scammed. Products need to be accurately described and fit for use in the country they’re sold in. This kind of oversight is unacceptable.

I've reduced to 4 stars simply because the advert didn't say that it's not a UK model. When setting up I had to pick a different country. I chose South Africa although it doesn’t seem to matter very much, because I was able to set it to UK English keyboard etc. I've been using it for a few days now and it's worked fine for apps such as Chrome browser and Excel. The screen is bright and clear, battery life has been excellent. Be aware that Android constantly uses 2.5Gb of memory, and with only 4GB total this model might struggle to run memory-hungry apps such as games.

Good tab

Just upgraded from A6 to A9 as previous tablet over 7 yrs old - still working though battery a little slower at charging. Although this new A9 is great looking and very light slightly larger,faster charging, the colours and graphics are crystal clear I personally find it a little slower, but for what I use it for its fine it serves its purpose. Bought it on a special price so cannot complain overall.

Great service with very prompt dispatch and delivery, everything exactly as per description and at the best price. I had a £50 voucher from Samsung but this seller was still surprisingly a better deal. I trust Samsung purchases as they have in my mind the best value and absolutely exceptional quality of products 5*

I bought this as a gift for my son. It was easy to set up and it works well with all the apps etc that a 9 uear old needs. Perfect upgrade for him.

Warum man an einem Netzstecker spart, ist mir ein Rätsel. Ansonsten alles ok.

Good Tab but a bit slow. If you’re use to an iPad you will find the Samsung slower. Otherwise a very nice tablet
